Mutant Child

"Hey, May," Tony said.

The woman put on a fake smile. "Hey, Mr.Stark," she said. The two adults looked over at the boy, who was just staring at them in confusion. "Peter, sweetie, please go in your room. I have to chat with Mr.Stark..." May said sweetly. The boy looked up at Mr.Stark confused, but did as told.

Once May heard the closing of a door, she looked over at Tony with a stern look. "So, I thought you were not coming back for a couple more weeks..." Tony said as he sat down.

"Well, I was, until I got a phone call," May said.

"Phone call?" Tony asked.

"Yes, phone call" May replied.

"From who?" Tony asked.

"From Peter's daycare teacher..." May said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Peter's daycare- are you talking about Mrs....what's her name? Mrs...Mrs. Trolly?" Tony said.

"MRS.DONNELLEY!!" May yelled. Tony raised his hands in 'surrender'. "Hey, May, I'm sorry, but that teacher hates me," Tony said.

"And I can see why!" May said.

"Why!?"

"CAUSE SHE TOLD ME YOU WERE PLANNING TO EXPERIMENT ON PETER!" May yelled.

Tony was now shocked and stunned. "I-I'm sorry...are you going to believe an old crook?" Tony asked.

"TONY!" May yelled. "IM SORRY, BUT YOU NEED TO GO! YOU NEED TO GO AND NEVER COME BACK! DONT COME NEAR MY NEPHEW! DONT COME NEAR ME! GO"

"HEY! I WOULD NEVER HURT THAT CHILD!" Tony yelled.

"OH, SO Mrs.Donnelley JUST LIED! Why would she do that?" May asked.

"CAUSE SHE HATES ME" Tony yelled.

May gasped in anger. "GET OUT, MR.STARK! AND STAY AWAY" May yelled.

"Fine, with pleasure," Tony said walking past May, and walking out of the apartment. May sighed as she processed what just happened.

May breathed heavily as she turned around only to see Peter. "OH! Hey sweetie, you scared me" May said. Peter didn't reply. He just stood there in shock. "H-How long have you been standing there?" May Asked. Peter didn't reply. May could see the hurt in Peter's eyes. "Soooo...you heard all of that?" May sighed out.

Peter blinked only to have a tear roll down his cheek. Peter backed up from May. "You came in only to run him off?" Peter whispered. May moved closer only making Peter move more backward. "YOUR MEANIE" Peter yelled as he ran down the hall.

"PETER! Peter wait!" May yelled running after Peter. Just when she was at his bedroom door, the door slammed in her face. "PETER! PETER BENJAMIN PARKER, OPEN THIS DOOR" May yelled.

"NO" Peter yelled in his kiddish voice.

"PETER...Peter listen...he was going to experiment on you..."

"NO, HE WASNT! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE" Peter yelled.

May sighed as she knew Peter needed time to process what he saw. May slowly backed away from the door. She took one more look at the said door before going back into the living room.
