"Yes." We all mumbled, beginning to pass our homework up to the front of the room for her to collect. We all silently started to work on our assigned math problems, the sound of flipping pages the only thing filling the silence of the classroom.
After a few minutes of silence, I heard the classroom door open. I let my eyes wander off of the textbook in front of me to see who just entered the room and I furrowed my brows in shock as I made eye contact with Jack Frost, yet again.
I huffed quietly to myself, resulting in a smirk from him. He broke our eye contact and walked towards the large desk in front of the room where Ms. Johnson was sitting.
She looked at the clock and raised an eyebrow at him.
"You're late, young man." She spoke, and Jack shrugged.
"I couldn't find the classroom. It's my first day." He spoke flatly and Ms. Johnson rolled her eyes before she began typing on her laptop.
"I'll let it slide just this one time. What was your name?" She asked, everyone's attention now fixated towards the front of the room instead of their work.
"Jack Frost." He replied. The keys on her laptop clacked loudly as she pressed the keys.
"Oh, I see. Jackson–" She started, but Jack cut her off.
"Yes, that's me, but I prefer being called Jack." He interrupted and she nodded in reply, evidently unimpressed by the first impression he set for himself.
"Alright then, Jack. Go ahead and take a seat next to Kristoff, he should be somewhere in the back of the classroom." Ms. Johnson said, pointing in the direction behind me and Ariel.
Jack made his way toward Kristoff, who sat at the table directly behind me and Ariel, and I watched as he eyed me up and down before sitting next to Kristoff.
I rolled my eyes, thoroughly uninterested in the fact that Jack was now in both of my classes each day from now until we graduate.
"If you don't mind Kristoff, just explain to Jack what we're doing for today." Ms. Johnson said and Kristoff nodded. I heard the two of them talking lowly to one another and I continued doing my own assignment.
"...Do you know the new student?" Ariel whispered towards me, glancing over in my direction. I looked over at her, tilting my head in confusion.
"What makes you think that I do?" I whispered back, curious as to why she would assume I already knew Jack on a personal level.
"I'm not sure, it just seems like you guys have an unspoken bond between the two of you. It was just something that I noticed when he walked into the room," Ariel responded and smiled at me lightly.
I gave her a polite grin.
"Oh, really? That's strange because I genuinely haven't ever seen or talked to him before until today. Not going to lie though, I kind of understand what you mean, because I feel the same way too." I replied, and she chuckled a little.
We continued to do the assignment in silence.
Jack
I was leaning against a wall that was further down the hallway from where the lockers were and noticed Elsa and one of her friends, a redhead, walking towards a classroom. I turned my head as I realized someone began to lean on the wall right next to me and made eye contact with Hiccup.
I turned to face him completely. He sighed before he spoke.
"I just wanted to say that I don't really have a good first impression of you, Jack, but I can't deny that for some random reason, your name sounds familiar to me." He said honestly, and I raised an eyebrow.
