Fear~an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
I recite those words as the brisk, unwelcoming winds howl, wanting to see me flee from its territory. The frostbitten air creates a swarm of goosebumps along my skin covered with layers of winter gear. "Brr", I say as I lie down on the mountain's carpet of glistening snowflakes, too scared to stand up and face the slopes. I stay there for a while, pinching myself, in hope this is only a nightmare. I grasped onto my scarf, worried it would fly away at the speed he was going. All at once, the worst scenarios flew through my brain. "What if he misses his turn, he wouldn't have anytime to think at the speed he is going... " "What if I get lost after he drops me off... " "What if he makes fun of me and tells everyone about it...
