Reaching the noon, Casey sat on the boat dock, his feet trying to reach the lake water. Violet was making her way down to the lake, till a scream sounded the woods. Casey quickly turned his head to the camp, standing up and he ran toward the scream and Violet chased him. Inside the girls Cabin, were the heads of Jamie and Laurie in the bathroom placed in a locker on a separate shelf.
The girl named Brittany stood and hugged on Emerald, her eyes then slowly turned to Nik, and then Casey standing behind him, watching the girl sobbing into Emerald's chest. "Why..why!" Brittany cried, as she hugged on her. "Shhh, it's going to be alright. We have the police coming." Emerald whispered while staring at Casey, who's wide eyed stare got her attention. Nobody realized that Casey, as in Chad was the culprit. Nik turned to Casey and grabbed him by the shoulder. Violet stood behind Casey and Nik, her hand covering her mouth. Campers are frightened, other staff rushed out to vomit. Some are heard whispering and crying.By Afternoon, The Sheriff pulled in, Sheriff Wilson started interviewing the councilors, and Josephine while the coroners were studying the heads, where were the bodies? Casey studied movements, nods, and hugs, he looked behind him with kids, and staff standing together. What was going to happen? What did they know? Can they get a clue? Was it a sick prank? A calling of another serial killer? The heads were bloodied, their hair was shaved, their entire faces are bruised with dirt and skin torn away.
Casey remained still and cold, his heart racing violently. He looked around like ghosts of his past were coming to him, 'Casey, Casey. Casey' the whispers sounded. Casey let out a loud scream causing the campers around him to flinch. Nik and the cop turned to glance at the screaming.
What was happening to him? What was he going through? Casey just kept screaming and screaming. The kids were talking in whispers to one of the other, Nik and Josephine ran towards him, Casey fell down to the ground, and stared up at the sky as his eyes continued to widen. Casey was hugged by Nik and lifted up carrying him to the Cabin. "Is he okay?" Deputy Forrest asked. Emerald looked at him carefully. "He came from the orphanage in town. He was supposed to be our guest camper." There wasn't much to tell, except he was transferred to the camp for the summer activity. "W-We picked him up.." She said. Deputy Forrest slowly lowered his hand holding the notepad, looking at Emerald. "Orphanage? That's impossible. Someone blew that place up...there were only small hand of survivors." He replied in confusion as much as the situation felt. He looked around and before she could finish, he ran to his car where there was a radio call about a random situation.
The Police left in Minutes, along with the ambulance after the scene was closed off. The cabin was cleaned out of the male campers to give Casey some space, laying there on his bed as he looked at the ceiling. "Poor dear.." Josephine frowned.
"A young kid like this could really go nuts after seeing what he saw. Even being without parents." She added. "Please get the kids on the bus. I'll be right back. Something's wrong." Emerald then ran in the administration's office. Emerald took a seat at Josephine's Desk in her office, and picked up her notebook where numbers were stored for emergencies and personal contacts, park rangers, including the orphanage 'Chad' was living. She began realizing something strange about Chad Nobody knew of the events that gave the early kill count. Now, it's up to Emerald to protect and save this camp. The only ones who knew were the police, and Casey himself, he was just hiding to get away from a hell he called.
She was petrified. Casey was last seen being close to Charlie, Anthony, and Mikey. The boys who were missing, was he close with Dawn and Jordan? She didn't know, she just had to investigate. Not one word of the recent murders from that orphanage either way.Everyone stood together, groups by groups. Casey was sitting in his bed, his eyes widened, his hands in his lap as he watched people outside the window, roaming. A 15-Year-old named James, his hair was blonde, his eyes were hazel, he was wearing Blue Jeans, a shirt with the name The Rolling Stones. He had a smile and sat in a seat seat next to Casey on his bed. He slapped Casey's knee. "So, I heard some noise." James said.
Casey slowly looked at him, his blue eyes still stiffened wide. Did he know? "Some people are saying that..Jamie and Laurie were next to you while you were cutting wood for Josephine. Is it true?" James asked. "I mean..the guys, everyone who dumped water on you are not at home. So..where are they?" James asked again.
Casey continued to stare at him, saying nothing, he was just giving that death stare, the stare he wanted to get rid of him. "Let me show you. But..I don't want anybody to come. Just you and I." Casey finally whispered standing up, James stood up from his bed putting his hand against Casey's chest. "Stay right there, kid." James said, he wanted answers. It's obvious by the furiousness in his voice. "Chad, what's your problem? Huh?" James asked. "All I want is to show you something.." Casey said.
Emerald stood up from the desk and opened the desk drawer, she pulled out a gun, failing to check that it was loaded. It wasn't. Josephine wasn't a gun person but she knew where to aim. She promised herself to use it for emergencies. Emerald ran out of the cabin and outside, looking at Josephine who stood in confusion. "What is going on?" She asked, frowning.
"Something happened at the orphanage. The police wouldn't say much, I don't know why. Something is terribly wrong." Emerald said running at the boys cabin. "What?! Emma! What are you doing?!" Josephine ran behind Emma who got closer to the cabin.
"NIK!" She screamed walking up to the cabin when he ran in, glaring before James could continue questioning him. "He killed them. He just admitted it." James pointed. Nik looked at Casey surprised, but what? He then looked at James and growled. "Get out! Get out now! Leave him the hell alone!" Nik snapped at him in anger.
James looked at Casey, who was slowly reaching for a knife under his bed. With Nik's back turned, Emerald opened the door as tears fell down her face. "NIK!" She screamed. Nik glared. "What?!" He growled.
Casey shoved the blade into his back, slashing his skin open, Nik began screaming as blood poured out so viciously. James frozen as he watched the butchering and Casey continued to stab him with the sharp blade that he held tightly, Nik fell to another bed next to Caseys, and Casey turned to look at James. He started walking towards James as he gripped the handle. "STOP! STOP THIS!" Josephine screamed opening the door, pushing Emerald aside and she ran at Casey.
Her arms wrapped around his waist, and he grunt, using what strength he could to shove the woman down. Both letting out screams. James smiled as he ran over to disarm Casey, but...this was a bad idea. When Casey released the knife from his hand, as Josephine lied there in shock. Emerald stepped inside and Casey grabbed her by the arm. she screamed out as he tossed her into James. Both of them fell down.
"Why? Why are you doing this?!" Josephine cried out.
When Emma dropped the gun, her eyes widened. She reached for it, but Casey picked it up and aimed it at Emma with a smile. "Don't do it..." Emma glared. "Who are you? Who the hell are you, really?" She asked. "My name is Casey." He smiled, shooting James in the head.
Emma let out a scream as she covered her face before blood and gore can land near her. Aiming the gun at Emma, he shot her in the leg, then aimed at Josephine who shook her head, clenching her hands together. "I was good to you. I was a good person to you. So can you be one if...if you can please give me the gun." She whispered reaching out for the gun. Lifting his foot, he kicked her in the face.
An hour later, Sheriff Wilson and the whole patrol of deputies were racing back to the camp because of a call of the deputy reporting a possible sighting to Casey after picking up a murder site at the camp. "If it is Casey, then we have a lot more to worry about." Patt said. He was right. The Sheriff had eyes on the young teenager, Deputy Kramer slammed on his brakes as the squad cars stopped before hitting Casey. Wilson got out of his car, along with Kramer and other fellow deputies with their guns out at Casey. He continued to have his back toward them. "Casey? It's Mr. Wilson. Casey, please turn around.." Sheriff Wilson pleaded. "Casey?" Sheriff Wilson walked over and grabbed Casey's shoulder and backed away.
Casey slowly turned, blood on his shirt, pants, and hands, and sleeves, and his face, a dark smile on him as he held the head of Nik. "Casey..." Sheriff Wilson spoke in shock, other deputies lowered their guns in a surprise where the horror just met with them. Casey remained silent. It was like staring at their own nightmare reincarnated.
Minutes later the bloodied Casey Baker is taken into custody by cuffs, officers escort him to a car. Surviving campers, counselors, Emily and Josephene are helped by the officers and paramedics watching over them, paramedics carried the dead, and the wounded. Casey was shoved into the car carefully, nobody knew what the hell happened.
Casey just looked ahead, slowly peering down at his hands, and he lifted his head, taking a deep sigh. It was all over..Casey was found out about, The camp was shut down, the kids were returned home until further notice. News passed around pretty quick too, there were no pictures taken of Casey. People wanted answers. Casey of course was sent away to a psychiatric ward, a mental hospital which he would soon find himself doing well. Just like his mother, he'd be cured, released, but would he happen to murder again?
