Splatoon: Agent 8 x Agent 3

      Coral's eyes felt heavy, her mind still longing for more sleep. The sunlight's beams did not reach inside the tent so that wasn't much of a help to wake her up.
      But something felt unusual. Coral felt an occasional slow breeze of air against her face. Her arms and legs felt too heavy to wake up as well.

    Slowly, she began to tiredly open her eyes.
Coral awoke to Kai still asleep, but he was facing her and he was really, really close. Her eyes glanced around as her face went pale as a ghost.

Coral woke up to her head resting on Kai's chest and with his right arm sprawled out on the other side and his left arm over her. Their legs were  tangled in a frenzy.

      " I swear, you are going to be the death of me Kai." Coral thought as she felt her whole body burning up.

    She took a quiet deep breath, and slowly tried to get up, not wanting to awake Kai.
     She began to remove his heavy arm off of her but
      Kai responded with a groan.

     Coral immediately froze in her tracks, "Shit.." .

   After what seemed like 30 seconds or so, Coral started to slowly lift her left leg from under Kai's legs.
    She was almost free, she just needed to continue to be very quiet and slowly get up from Kai's chest-

    " HEY!! CORAL AND KAI, ARE YOU STILL ASLEEP?!!? WE'RE LEAVING SO WAKE UP YOU TWO!!!!!" Bruno shouts from outside the tent.

      Coral gritted her teeth and quickly dropped her head back onto the sheets as Kai's eyes shot open.
   He sees Coral and that he is very close to her , but is unaware that she is pretending to be asleep.
  From embarrassment he quickly sat up and immediately noticed Bruno's silhouette emitting from outside the tent.
  Kai tiredly rubbed his eyes and then gently nudges Coral's shoulder.

    In fear that he may have saw her already awake, Coral continues to pretend to be asleep and she struggles to keep her eyes closed.

    " Coral," Kai says in a hushed voice.
           " Wake up."

  She finally decides to open her eyes, slowly as if she hadn't woken up this morning.

     " Good morning," Kai smiles tiredly.

     " M-Morning Kai," Coral replies.

    " Bruno says that it's time to leave now." Kai says as he begins to slowly get out of the blankets.

    " What, Really?? I thought we were supposed to be leaving the camp in the afternoon?" Coral says as she digs her squid phone out of her jacket.

      She turns it on and the time displays:
" 12:24 p.m"

      " Oh." 

      They then both exit the tent one by one.
  It didn't take Bruno long to notice that they were both now outside of the tent.

    " Hey!! I know I said to get comfortable, but I said not too comfortable !!! C'mon we gotta pack up before the forest rangers show up with a fine." Bruno says as he passes them while carrying a heavy bag.

They watch as Bruno struggles to carry the heavy bag up the stairs, he pretended to not have a problem at all- but he clearly insisted on showing that he was the tough one. Both of them then proceed Bruno's orders and they start to gather their things.

   " Uhmm.. Coral? H-how long did we exactly sleep?" Kai asks warily while he rolled up the blankets.

     She sighs and counts in her head for a little and then mumbles, " About ..... nearly 12 hours".

     " Oh..w-wow." He quietly says in disbelief.

    " Yeah, but on the bright side, I don't feel groggy at all," Coral says as she stretches her arms.

  " I have to admit, but..that sleep felt amazing. I do feel very refreshed right now." Kai pondered as he began to help Coral pack up the equipment.

     Once all of the bags were in the trunk and the rented equipment were returned, Shelly left  and her friends parted their ways with a
     " Nice meetin' the four of  ya'll, don't forget to stay fresh!"

   " Don't  forget to stay fresh.. are you kidding me?" Alex scoffed.

     " Tcht, I gotta be honest but those two siblings are pretty strange," Bruno says and he then turns to Kai and Coral.
     " So Coral and Kai, I bet you guys had one heck of a sleep! I might as well consider you guys as Cuttlefish rather than an Inkling and Octoling now! He sneers.
      " Get it? because-,"

Alex interrupts Bruno and sarcastically says in a monotone voice, " Let me guess, because cuttlefish is close to the word cuddle..yeah.. ha ha ha, so funny Bruno"

     Coral twisted her lips into a low growl,
" Watch it Bruno,  you will get punched in that dumb toothy grin face of yours one day, just you wait."

Kai vulnerably just stands there, waiting for the two to stop arguing like children.
    Coral and Bruno eventually realize that they were in the middle of a public parking and they finally get inside their car.

Aaaaaaa omg I'm soooo sorry for making this part short, but anyways I have school again. Tbh I don't mind going to school ( except for math class, I suck at math and I have Financial Algebra ) because it makes the days pass by faster and that means Smash Ultimate will just be getting closer as the days pass!
