Rejecting The Alpha Of Rouges

Chapter Twenty-Three

"Do you think your dad is safe?"  I asked.  "Around girls and woman?"

Dominic shook his head.  "No, he's not.  He hurt Melody and Summer.  I wish we could tell the Alpha."

I smiled.  "How about we go talk to him after I take you to the flower field?"

"Can we go get him now and make him a flower crown too?"  Melody asked.

It would be better for them to open up about the sexist and possibly dangerous father.  We couldn't have someone scaring little kids like that.  We also couldn't have him teaching the boys that females were lower than they were.  I smiled and nodded, the kids cheered and started racing towards the pack house.  I laughed and ran after them.  I missed this, being near kids reminded me of the good times of my childhood.  

They came to a halt when they got to the front doors.  I could hear a male screaming and a woman whimpering in fear.  Dominic and Dustin whimpered.  Was that their father?  Rayla growled when the woman's scream of pain echoed through my ears.  Screw Dean.  This man needed to be beaten by a girl, maybe he'd open his eyes.  I looked at Summer, Melody, Dustin, and Dominic.

"You guys want to meet a new friend?"  I asked.  

"YES!"  They all chirped.

"I give you permission to go into the pack house,"  I said.  "Go down the first hall on the right and into the first door on the left.  There will be a pretty girl sleeping on the bed and Dean, Blayke, Alec, Mara, and Ciana will be there.  I'll be back soon."

They nodded and went into the pack house while I made my way to meet this father.  When I got there a male with an ugly shade of brown was beating a beautiful blonde female.  Other guys were trying to pull him off of her.  The other women were sobbing and begging him to stop.  One loud clap got everyone's attention on me.  I crossed my arms over my chest, giving off dominance.

"Hit her one more time and I swear you'll understand what true power is,"  I growled.  "The second you lay your hands on a woman or girl is the second you lose the privilege of being a man."

"Shut the fuck up bitch!"  He yelled at me.  "You know nothing about power.  You ran from Alpha Dean because you were too much of a pussy to face the fact that you would be a Luna, not a Beta."

"Dad!"  Dominic yelled.  "Why do you have to be such an asshole?!  Leave this pack!  Leave me, Dustin and Mom, alone!  Forever!"

I shrugged.  "You heard your son."

"Are you going to make me bitch?"  He growled.

"I'm normally not one for violence on pack members but if I have to I will,"  I said, calmly.

"Yeah right,"  another pack member said.  "You're heartless."

I sensed the arrow coming before I could hear it.  I grabbed Dominic and jumped out of the way of the arrow.  Everyone gasped in shock.  I could smell the guardian rogues' scent all over it.  What assholes!  Of course, they'd choose right now to attack.  The leader came out of nowhere and grabbed the arrow, looking at me.

"Have you realized that Dean is just going to drag you down yet?"  The leader asked.  "He killed your parents.  Took away Cole, tried to take away Blayke.  Destroyed your childhood.  Made you live in fear and pain.  He's not good enough for you, no one knows the power you behold."

"Go fuck yourself,"  I growled.  "It's NEVER going to happen.  When are you going to get it through your head?  YOU KILLED COLE AND TOOK HIM AWAY!  NOT DEAN!  MY PARENTS HAD IT COMING I KNOW THAT NOW!  SO EITHER FIGHT TO THE DEATH OR WALK AWAY AND LEAVE MY PACK ALONE OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY!"
