The constant beeping of my alarm, was soon getting on my nerves.
"Alright already" i said while turning my phone alarm off. 'It's morning and
surprisingly ...... i don't feel tired' I thought to myself.
I hoped in and out of the shower. I put on my black skinny jeans,
a Paramore t-shirt, my black vans, and my thin jacket. I put my hair
half up, half down. I got out of the bathroom and the clock read
Seven in the morning. Perfect. I'm on time for once....usually i'm always late
to first period. Wait... I smelled breakfast.
I ran down the stairs to see my mom cooking with a smile on her face.
"Mom shouldn't you be at work by now!"
"I wanted to take my baby to school" she looked at me and smiled. "Is that a crime."
she asked.
"Really!?"
"Yes sweetheart. Now call your friend Rikki and tell him I'm taking you to school
for the rest of the week. Okay?" she asked.
"Okay!" She knew Rikki always took me to school, since she
was always too busy and i didn't want to get in the way of her schedule.
Days and moments when i actually talked to my mom are what I cherish.
Ever since my parents divorced my mom put in extra hours at the office then
she actually needed to. I haven't spoke to my Father in a year and really,
i don't care. He should be happy with his new wife....right?
I finished eating and it was thirty minutes later.
'We should get going' I thought.
"Ready sweetie?"mom asked
"Yes ma'am" and I gave her a bright smile.
We live on a lovely piece of land (about eight acres) about ten or twelve minutes away from my school.
"Sweetie what do you think if we moved into town?" Mom asked.
It would be better. Closer to school. My friends. Closer to her job.
"That sounds great mom." I smiled.
"Alright we'll look at houses when we get home today then." She smiled at me
because really we didn't need all that land and maybe a smaller house wouldn't kill us.
~At School~
Before my mom drove away she told me she'll be here when school lets out. I smiled
and nodded. I turned and started walking.
I saw Rikki pull into the parking lot in his black 2010 Mustang GT.
I was next to his car door in seconds. He opened his door and as he was
about to get out i pushed him back down and sat on his lap i pulled out my phone
from my jacket pocket we still had fifteen minutes til the bell.
