Octonauts (Shellington x reader)

[(Y/N) POV]

After Dashi left I was confused. 'She loves him and she thinks I like him?' I thought. It's true that I was blushing and stuttering when I talk to him. 'But do I like him in that way?' I asked myself. I need to find out for myself.

(Time skip)

I got a call from my ex. He wants to be together again and I don't. I caught him cheating on me with a random girl. I broke up with him and got my job as an Octonaut.

"Look I caught you cheating on me! I told you that I want nothing to do with you!" I shouted in the phone. Tweak came and mouthed "Larry?" I nodded and then Shellington came into the room. "Why's (Y/N) yelling in the phone?" He asked. "Her ex boyfriend is calling her to win her back. He cheated on her and now she's really mad at him." Shellington didn't like the fact that someone was trying to get you to be their girl.

       He walked over to me and snatched the phone out of my paw. "Listen, (Y/N) says that she wants nothing to do with you! Leave her alone before I find where you live and kill you!" He shouted and then hung up. We looked at each other in amazement.

         "S-sorry I should've asked if that was ok." He said. "Don't worry about it and thank you for doing it. He's such a jerk." I told him. I put my paw on his shoulder and instantly blush. I'm pretty sure I look like a tomato. "S-sorry." "It's okay." He said while blushing.

          I ran away as fast as I can and left the room. My heart was thumping faster than a cheetah running after its prey. "I like him. I love him." I thought. That thought had answered the question on my mind.
