You Are The Only Exception:Ch 4 {Teacher/Student Relationship}

Mom: See you after school :)-1:55pm

I smiled and headed towards Physics and was about to go through the door when 

my friend Jessica pulled me away from the door by my forearm.

She was always the concerned one out of my friends.

"What did Mr. R give you?" She asked worried.

"Only like, three days after school detention."

"Sound like he went easy on you. Well I see you later." She said excitedly.

The bell rung from the speakers, and I was shaking my head.

"Aww shit!" I said.

I walked back over to the Physics door. Took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Nice of you to join us Michelle" Mr. Thompson said while smirking. I ignored him and 

sat at the lab table with Sam.

Not even five minutes in class and Sam already was talking and asking me what 

happened. I took a few minutes to tell her everything.

"Three days detention. Not bad but i'd say Mr. Rich was going easy on you Michelle."

I laughed and said "Yeah I guess"

"And do you know Mr. Thompson is staring at you?" Sam whispered.

"mhmm yeah." I laughed again. Not wanting to look In Mr. Thompson's direction.

"Oh yeah he is! and now he's coming over here!" Sam said quickly.

"Would you care to share what was so funny about my lesson Miss Martinez?"

I really wasn't in the mood to talk to him and i really didn't want anymore after 

school detention or detentions period. So I didn't reply and just smiled.

"Well?" he asked getting annoyed.

I opened my mouth but the bell rang 'Thank god' I thought. I got up and stood right 

in front of Mr. Thompson. 

"Nothing really." I told him simply. "Just.. about my verdict from Mr. Richardson" I said 

while heading out the door.

-Mr. Thompson POV-

Her grey eyes were mesmerizing. I went back to my desk to gather my things and heard 

a knock at the door.... Mr. Richardson 'Great' I thought.

"Can I help you sir?"

"Oh Everett I just wanted to let you know that miss Michelle Martinez had after 

school detention with you staring tomorrow."

I nodded "Alright. At three to five?"

"Yes Everett. You might want to check out her school record if you havent already."

"I've seen it already sir."

Mr. Richardson nodded and began to walk out the door but stopped  

and turned around and said "She can be a hand full but  

I'm sure you'll have no problem with her." and with that he left.

I remember her record very well. Skipping school, fights, interrupting class 

by singing with her guitar. The list looked endless.

In a nut shell, well, Michelle's very rebellious.
