You Are The Only Exception:Ch 4 {Teacher/Student Relationship}

-Michelle POV-

I headed for the parking lot to see my mother waiting in her Lexus for me but  

before i opened the door i heard my name being called and turned to  

see Rikki.

"I'll pick you up at seven!" He shouted.

Even from the distance we were at I still saw his stupid grin on his  

face and couldn't help but smile.

I opened the door "Hey mom" I said while smiling.

"Hey sweetie." she said smiling also "Amy Summers called and  

I know you have three days of after school detention, but we can go house hunting tomorrow? 

How' s that sound?"

"Sounds awesome" I smiled and signed.

We got home and I ran upstairs looked in my closet for black skinny jeans, a white tank 

top, my black vans, and my new paramore jacket.

I glanced at the clock when i finished showering and changing. 

6:15pm 'Do i really take that long in the shower?'

I went downstairs to see my mom put food on two plates and she placed 

a plate in front of me and i began to eat.

I finished eating and heard the door bell ring. I put my dish in the sink and turned to  

my mom who was smiling "Have a good time tonight sweetie."

I walked to the door to see Rikki let himself inside.

"So you just let yourself inside?" I questioned.

"Ready?" he said completely ignoring my question.

"No. Of course not that's why I'm standing here dressed." I said sarcastically.

He just laughed and grabbed my hand and we went to his car.

We sat in the back of the theater in the middle which i say is the best seat 

in there.

About half way through the movie i found myself holding on to Rikki's forearm for the  

rest of the movie. Either squeezing it, screaming, or grabbing it to block the 

screen from my view.

"Well iI think my ears had enough of your screaming for one night." He said while grinning.

"Ha ha ha!" I yelled. 

------

We finally pulled up into my driveway.

"Thanks again for going with me Michelle" He said smiling.

"Yeah sure" I said smiling. "Oh yeah and thank you in advance for all the nightmares 

I'm going to have tonight. Oh right that's even if I get to sleep." I said while 

still smiling.

I opened the car door but stopped when Rikki's right hand was on my left forearm 

and his left hand went under my chin pulling it toward him.

Before i knew what was happening Rikki's lips were on mine.

I didn't kiss him back. I just waited for him to stop and pull away.

He finally pulled away smirking.

I got out and Rikki rolled down the window "I don't think your going to have nightmares 

tonight. Goodnight love. I love you" he said smirking.

I went inside and glanced at the clock 9:30pm. I went upstairs to my room and changed 

and went to lay down on my bed to think about what happened 

and i figured it out.......

The truth is...... I don't have feelings for Rikki. 

. 

. 

. 

. 

None. 

. 

. 

. 

. 

but 

.

.

His last word kept replaying in my head 'I love you'...

.

'Rikki.... I hate you.' I thought.

. 

. 

. 

. 

. 

.

Because those were the same exact words my dad said every night to my mother and I 

when he was having an affair........
