Ana: Hi guys I'm finally making this!
Matt: Hi reader~
Ana: ... Okay... let's begin!

"Good morning kids!"

"Good morning Mr. Kyle"

Today classes at the Garrison began. There stood a 13 year old kid. Mathew Holt, tall and skinny. He wore a pair of glasses that reflected his big amber colored eyes.

"Okay class, I want you to meet a new student: Y/n"

You entered the classroom and stood in front of every boy and girl in the room. You felt nervous by the judgement on everyone's look, but your eyes went directly into a smile. A boy smiled at the fact that you were in the same class as him. That encouraged you, but at the same time you were still nervous

"Go on, present yourself dear"

I cleared my throat and spoke "Hi, my name is Y/n, I am 12 years old and I'm very excited for being here" you showed a weak smile and tried not to look at the boy, but your Y/e/c eyes fought to look back and take a few more glances of him.

The teacher showed you your seat and you followed, besides you was the boy who smiled at you... you wanted to know who he was, so you asked.

"Hi I- you probably already know who I am, what about you? You seemed pretty excited"

The boy looked at you and replied with a smile

"Hi, I'm Matt, and yes, it's nice to meet you Y/n!"

School went by, it seemed that both of you had almost all the subjects together. You went through the halls and looked at the map.

You mumbled something that only you heard

"What was that?" Matt asked

"Oh, nothing, the problem is that I don't know where my dorm is. And this map isn't helping at all"

He laughed.

"yea at first it's complicated, but the girl dorms are right here"

he pointed to the 3rd floor just besides the training grounds.

"Thanks, I'll ask there what number is my room. See you tomorrow?"

"You bet!"

You waved each other goodbye and went to different directions. You headed to the dorms and found another girl who has robotics class with you.

"Excuse me do you know where can I ask for my room number?"

She looked like she was thinking, but what?

"Hey, you're Y/n! You are my roommate! Here, I'll show you, follow me"

We went through the hall until we reached room number 690

"By the way my name is Grace"

"It's nice to meet you" I smiled and entered the room to unpack.

When all was done we putted on our pajamas and headed to sleep. Unpacking took almost 2 hours and you needed sleep, meeting each other could wait until tomorrow.

The next day I woke up... 5:57...

"NO! GRACE WAKE UP! WE ARE LATE!"

We changed and hurried before Iverson could notice their absence.

They reached the classroom, there was Matt, sitting in his desk waiting for you, when he saw you through the window he mimicked you that Iverson was gone, to hurry and sit.

Both of you entered and took your sits, pleading that Iverson wouldn't notice.

He came back you couldn't help it, the nervousness and fear were too big for you. Suddenly a hand took yours and squished it in reassurance that it will be fine, you looked in the direction the hand came from and it was Matt, one of your closest friends, he looked at you and nodded, you took a deep breath and waited for the worst.

In the end Iverson did notice, he talked to you and Grace, lucky you he decided to shrug it off and give you a second chance.

"So?"

"Nothing much, he decided to let it slip because it is the first day, but thanks for worrying Matt"

You went to the cafeteria to eat. You three chatted for a long time, got to know each other, talk about hobbies and things you liked, something that you really enjoyed, talking with your two best friends, what can be better?

The three of you said goodnight and went to sleep.

'Today was amazing! Having Matt and Grace is great, it can't be better' you tought.

'I can't wait for tomorrow, it's gonna be great with Y/n and Grace' Matt also liked this, and he hoped it could stay like that forever.

That's when you both realized this was the beginning of something new...
