Abyss of passion

Notre Dame high school is one of the best schools in the country, no doubt about that. The school has high facilities, from well equipped laboratory to qualified teachers, spacious sport arenas and fascinating boarding facilities. No wonder they produce the best students every year.

The school offers scholarship application to best students across the country, after which they are tested if they are really worth.

It was the day of the examination which commenced 11am. One could see different kinds of student; from tall to short, slim to fat and plumpy, from different backgrounds, the ones who dressed high fashionably to lousy ones. Jason kept scanning around the classroom while the examination went on, he felt disgusted and ultimately annoyed. Just then his eyes went back to scan a particular student well. One could see his face brighten up.

"Who is she?" He questioned no one in particular but himself.

Two seats away from him is seated a girl, she must be around his sister's age. Fair and smooth skin, dark curly hair, Jason could see her side view clearly, her green eyeballs brought out the beauty in her face.

Jason was so lost in her beauty. "She is amazing."

"You have ten minutes left to the end of the examination," the invigilator announced which jolted Jason back to his senses.

"Hey! That's not fair," Jason said aloud. "I'm not done." Everyone turned to him while the invigilator glared at him. He was quiet when he noticed this and hurried up with his work. He kept smiling all through the examination at the thought of the anonymous girl.

The examination was finally over and students filed out of the room after submitting their papers. Jason hurriedly submitted and pushed through the students to catch up with the girl that got him drooling all through the period of the examination. He got outside and started looking here and there, suddenly he cut sight of her almost getting out of the school, he smiled at himself happily and ran to her direction , but he was soon stopped when a girl collided into him.

"Shit!" He exclaimed annoyingly as he stood to his feet. "Watch where you're going, miss."

The girl stood up and glared at Jason who was looking around to see if the mystery girl was still at reach. "It is you who should watch it, dumb head," the girl replied annoyingly.

Jason shot her an annoying look. "You...Rosabelle!" he exclaimed.

The girl turned to him when she heard her name, her face lit up when she faced the guy who annoyed her some seconds ago. "Jason!" She exclaimed and hugged him tightly.

"What are you doing here?" Jason asked.

Rosabelle frowned. "You're seriously asking me that. My mum is the president of the school so automatically I'm a student of this school," she replied. "It's been ages, where have you been?" She asked, smiling again.

"I've been around," Jason replied and started looking around again.

"Who are you searching for?" Rosabelle asked when she saw his action.

Jason paused and faced her. "Uh never mind, I guess I'll see you around later." He walked off before Rosabelle could say another word.

"Yeah, I'll see you around," she said and walked off.
