*From here on, this story will be in third person. I might go back later and fix the old chapters, but I feel like it is easier to add more to the story (like emotions and descriptions) instead of having a ton of dialogue.*
Oliver looked over and smiled when he saw his sister for the first time in months and she smiled back, her dimples becoming more perceptible.

Chapter 18; Flash vs. Arrow
It's been a few days since the break up--or her finding out about his infidelity--and if she was being honest with herself, she was actually happy that her and Evan were not together any more. Charlotte realized that their relationship wasn't going anywhere, and she was glad. Well, not exactly glad per say because of the situation of which they broke up.
Day after day since the split, she's been having mixed emotions when she wakes up. One day, she feels like she's suffocating from not being able to breath after sobbing, and another day, she feels peaceful and content. She was sad, yet happy. She was a walking oxymoron.
She didn't tell anyone, except for Caitlin and Thea, the truth about what had actually happened. She told everyone else that it was a mutual breakup, but in reality, it was much worse.
When she woke up on Tuesday morning, she didn't feel sad, or happy, or peaceful. She felt tired. Charlotte slammed her hand down on her alarm clock and grabbed her phone from her bedside table.
6:45 a.m. is too early for a human being to wake up, she thought as she pulled the duvet off of her. She shivered as her feet hit the cold, hardwood floor in her bedroom. She sauntered over to her closet and picked out her outfit: a cropped grey jumper and black leggings. She didn't feel like wearing a tight dress and heels like what Caitlin usually wears.
After taking a quick shower, she slipped her clothes on and brushed through her hair. Deciding to not curl her hair that day, she sat down at her vanity and started applying her makeup. It wasn't much, just light foundation, mascara, and a swipe of lip balm. Her mother Moira used to tell her that she didn't need makeup to make her look beautiful, just to enhance her features. Thea always said that Charlotte should put makeup on to make the boys drool over her.
Smiling at the memory, Charlotte stood up from her seat and grabbed her phone, purse, and keys. She locked her house door on her way out to her car. When she turned the car on, she looked at the clock and saw that she still had quite some time before she had to be at S.T.A.R. labs.
"Yeah, I've got time," she quoted as she backed out of her driveway. Following the speed limit, she went straight to Jitters, her favourite place in Central City, other than her own house.
"Charlie!" Iris greeted when Charlotte stepped inside the coffee shop from the cool air outside. "I'll get your drink right away." Charlotte smiled and sat down at one of the few empty tables even though she'd be leaving as soon as she gets her drink. She pulled out her phone and noticed that she had a text from Felicity, but she didn't get the chance to read it as Iris walked over to her with her usual drink.
"Thank you, Iris," Charlotte said as she pulled out the money from her purse. After paying Iris for the drink, Charlotte let out a small smile as she walked towards the door. She turned her head slightly away from the door, but out of the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar yellow lightning bolt. She shook her head and took a deep breath in before opening the door, embracing the cooler air from the outside.
