"What why?? Won't they be happy that their friend is alive?"

I really don't get it. Keep it a secret??

"And how about Four? They're both Wraiths, I'm sure they both had a good alliance."

"No. Seven, you don't understand..... One died a painful death in their memories..... Four would most likely be the most offended."

"Nine I don't understand anything you're telling me..." I pleaded at him. He gave a small smile and nodded to himself.

"One and Two gave a whole lot of help in Alpha for PHASe. They were very close to us..... and when we thought One died... everyone was badly affected....... Five cried every night after her death. He was really close to her. But Four was the most affected..... During Project Angmar..... Four lost control...... One was on the verge of tearing herself apart but she tried stopping Four during the Program...............

He killed her.....

In the memories of Alpha, One was killed not only by the Angmar Augmentation, but also by the hand of Four. And Two suddenly died after leaving PHASe. It's a mess. And it might hurt them to find out. But I don't want to risk hurting them. Especially hyung. He'd feel guilty...."

I was stunned in my seat. My eyes focused on nothing. My mind was blank and I didn't know what to think. Everything was.......... a confusion.

"Now Seven... as I said earlier, I'm giving you this special mission. This secret has been a burden to me for the last three years and I know you'll be the right person I can tell this about. I don't know why... But I just know I'm right."

I nod trying to understand.

"Okay, now then...... What you actually need to do is search for One in Nefarion. Her last known sighting may be the wastelands but according to researches I've done, right now, she's in Nefarion looking for KAIROS as well. I don't know why, but we need to find her. Once we do, we can bring her back and convince her to help us take down the Blue Wings. She'll surely be a lot of help since she's been hiding in plain sight there for a few months now. She'll have more information about Nefarion than we do for sure. I hope you understand me, Seven.... you can ask questions while we're alone."

I hesitated. My mind was filled with millions of questions but they were mostly personal and are surely going to be unanswered.

I shook my head. "None..... I think I'll understand all this soon enough." I said. Nine nodded. I'm glad he understands how I felt about all the information he suddenly poured into me.

"But wait! What about Six!? He's a mindreader! How didn't he find out from you??? He'll surely find out from me!" I exclaimed. "Or does he already know?"

Nine chuckled. "Of course he already knows. That's why I asked him to trick you earlier hahaha!" I pouted at my own disbelief.

'Of course he already found out! Jeez, think Seven!'

"Anyway.... here. Take the tablet, you can read every other information you'll need in there. You can ask me if you need any clarifications or whatever, k?" I took the tablet he handed me and nodded slowly.

I let out a heavy sigh. Nine held my shoulder.

"I know it's a burden to keep such a huge secret, but please.... keep it for the mean time until the right time comes..... You can go now. You'll need lots of rest to relax your mind."

One last question comes out of my mouth before I could even think of it, "But why did you actually trust me with all this?"

Nine smiles, "Because she already knows you. And if we ever need to persuade her into joining back into PHASe, since she clearly left without letting us know, we'll have a girl talk to her. I believe the same gender would be able to understand her more than a guy....... Now come on. It's getting really late....."

Nine stood up and I followed. He unlocked the door and I walked out and hid the tablet in my shirt. I need to hide this from Zero.....

I walked the empty halls and entered our room. I scanned the area and didn't see Zero. He must be in the bathroom again. I quickly put the tablet in my bag and hid it in the far bottom to avoid accidentally showing it. I closed the zipper and casually went to bed.

My mind was filled with so many many many question.......

Questions I knew won't be answered.

I massaged my temples and took a deep breath.

And right on time, Zero just came out of the bathroom door.

"Seven. Jeez what took you so long?"

He went straight to me and stood at the side of my bed where I sat. I looked up at him and ignored his question. I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck. He audibly gasped in shock and stood stiffly. "(Y/n).... What's wrong? Are you okay? Did Nine say something bad?"

I shook my head against his chest and loosened my grip. I tiptoed and kissed his lips. Right now.... I just need to be comforted. I felt so burdened....and sorry for all the members.

Thankfully enough, Zero kissed back and held me closer. The moment we broke off, he sat on my bed while I sat in his lap. He caressed my hair gently and I laid my head in the crook of his neck.

"You're really tired aren't you?..... Nine probably asked you to help with the planning... Come on.... Let's sleep. We have one more day....."

I let his assumptions be what he believed so he won't get suspicious. Zero stood up and made me sit on my bed as he walked to his.

"Zero.." I called out. He immediately turned his head, his face was clearly showing concern.

"Yes?"

"...Can I sleep with you for tonight?... On your bed?"

Zero blinked twice but nodded. He made space in his bed while I climbed in after changing into comfortable sleepwear.

"Are you really alright?"

Zero was on his side, facing me, as he held my waist. I scooted closer to him and placed my hands on his chest.

"I'm Fine...." I say but inside I wasn't.

Zero kissed me again for a second, "Tell me if you need something okay? I'm right here..." I smile in return and nod. "Good night (y/n)."

Him calling me by my real name sounds much more soothing than being called Seven. He really knows how to care~

"I love you Zero....." I said and hugged him goodnight.

I felt him chuckle and kiss my forehead.

"I love you too...."

My eyes started to feel heavy. I knew I'll fall asleep any second now. And I'm glad to fall asleep in my best friend's arms.

'Why do I suddenly feel....... scared?'

I know its kinda confusing you guys but this is how the story lead to. But dont worryyy everything will be alright.

One is finally mentioned along with Two and they'll have their appearance really soonnnnn so wait for it!!!!!!
