Monster Mate

(Damon's POV)

I was sitting down on the couch, waiting for Venus to get home

An hour later, the front door opend and in came Venus, laughing with my dad

"So, what is a toaster" I heard my dad ask

She laughed

"Venus, dad" I said, looking at them

"Damon" my dad said, looking at me

"Hello dad" I said, looking at him and then at Venus

She looked so happy, having him here, by her side. When I looked at my dad, he had darkness in his eyes

"Damon, where is Stefan. I'm sure he also wants to see dad" she smiled, running to my side

Before any of us could say anything, Stefan walked out, looking at me

"Hey" he said, hugging Venus

"Hi" She whispard, hugging him back

I turned around to look at my dad, who was smiling at us

"Venus, do you mind if I talk to your brothers, by ourselfs" he asked, pulling Venus away from Stefan

She shook her head and smiled at me and Stefan

"You know, maybe people coming back isn't all that bad?" She told us, smiling

She kissed out dads cheek and walked out with a big smile on her face

"So, you guys haven't told her?" he asked us, taking a seat on the couch, once Venus had walked up the stairs

"No, we haven't. We are the only thing she has left. If she finds out about this, she will hate is both" I told him, standing next to my brother

"It was your mistake, not mine. You're the one who killed me and now I'm back, which I'm guessing is not something that you were expecting" he asked, looking up at Stefan

"Dad, please" I begged him "don't do this to us" I said

"Alright, on a few conductions" he told us

"What conditions?" Stefan and I asked him

"You let me stay here, you don't tell her how her mother died and you don't tell her my gambling depts all those years ago" he said to us

"Fine" I told him

He turned to Stefan and looked at him

"She diserves to know the truth" he told us

"If she were to find out that you killed dad when you first became a vampire and the he was the one that completed the transition for you, she would never forgive you. It one thing to be honest and another thing to be a martyr" I said to him, pulling him aside

"You did what?" I heard Venus asked

Her voice craked, as she looked at all of us

"Venus, we thought-" my dad started, but she started crying

Nor Stefan or I got one single word in, when we looked back up to see her, she was gone

I jogged after her, but stopped when I saw what she had dropped

It was a picture of my dad, mom, Stefan, Venus, and I

I picked it up and turned to look at my brother

He looked so sad, so devastated, and so empty

We turned to look at our father

"She's gone and she knows, now leave" I said to him and walked out the door to try and find my sister

(Venus' POV)

Stefan killed him, he killed our dad and he never told me

Damon knew, they both knew and they both looked me in the eyes and never said anything

I screamed loudly, running

I didn't know where I was going or for how long I was running.

When I looked up, I realized that I was standing infront of Klaus' home

I was still crying and the rain outside had started up again

I opened the front door and walked up to Klaus' bedroom

Once I got to his bedroom door, I slowly opend it and walked inside

Klaus was laying on his bed, with his shirt off and a pair of jeans on. His eyes were closed, as he laid on his bed, facing up

I was still crying, when he jumped out of bed, looking around

When his eyes landed on me, they softend and he walked over

"What's the matter?" He asked me, looking into my eyes

I couldn't say anything, not could I speak

"Hey, it's okay, you're safe here with me" said, looking a bit uncomfortable

I felt so empty and alone, all I wanted him to do was hug me

I jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly against me

He held im his arms around me, not touching my body. Almost like he didn't know what to do

I cried into his chest, coving my face in the crook of his neck

Slowly, but fermly, he wrapped his arms around me, pulled me into his arms

"You're okay now, I'll protect you" he said and guided me to his bed

He laid me down on his bed and stood above me

I knew that he was going to walk out, but I grabbed his arm and looked up to his icy blue eyes

"Please don't leave me, not now" I begged, still crying

He looked confused, but nodded his head

Slowly, he took his spot next me, not touching me

I turned around and laid my head on his chest, closing my eyes

He stiffend, but soon relaxed

He started running his fingers threw my hair as I slowly drifted off

"You're going to be alright" he promised me and then everything went dark
