Tomorrow

"Remember your subteammates for this mission?" He questions. My right brow rose, "What about them?" Another click.

"I need you and Zero to come to the meeting room around 6:45 or so. I have to speak with you. Don't bring Seven along."

I drop my gun on my bed and take a seat in front of the digital screen. "Fine... give me some time. I'm checking my pistols. And Zero's still asleep for sure."

Nine nods. I look away.

"Alright good. I'll see you later." The conversation quickly ended there as he hung up.

'Wonder what he wants..'

I shake away the thought and get up. I leave my guns on my bed in an alignment then cleaned up the suitcase of my sniper riffle.

I sigh. Something smells fishy here and Nine wouldn't spill it. Six better tell me sooner or later. I need answers.

I walk off to my bag and change my current clothes. I glance at my digital clock that read '6:01am'. To how I know it, Zero should be awake by now.

'Give him a few more minutes....'

I say to myself and lay back down on my bed.

'Nine.... This better be good.'

AUTHOR'S POV

_7:02am_

     Soft footsteps hit the floorings of the plane as Zero walked towards the door of the conference room where Four was currently standing.

     "Took you long enough." The assassin mumbled before tapping on the door panel and letting it slide open. "Sorry... Seven took long in the shower." Zero said while following his hyung into the room.

     Nine was studying a map overlay as the two entered. "Morning hyung..." Zero greeted while Four only took his seat.

"Morning Zero.... Four..." Zero smiles while Four only flicks his wrist for a small 'hi'.

     "Alright.... Sorry to bother you both early this morning but... We have to discuss a few things about the mission. And a few regards on having Seven in your team." Zero stiffens while Four deeply stares at the leader, unknown thoughts crossing their minds.

     "First... being the only girl, I made sure she'd be teamed up with members who can and will protect her. Nefarion has gangsters who would pretty much take their advantages on women. I don't want anything to happen to (y/n) and I know neither do you two do as well."

     Nine's voice was stern as he spoke. Zero was clearly determined with Nine's statements. The look in his eyes made it clear he wasn't going to let a single man in that city lay a finger on Seven. Four on the other hand seemed lifeless in his seat. But deep inside he was ready to rip off every single head of every single man who would do her any harm.

"I could have been with her but I have to stay in the plane while her mission is within Nefarion. So I'm leaving her to you two."

The room was silent but the atmosphere wasn't awkward at all. It was dead serious.

"One more thing..." Nine turns his head to Four, "...Don't loose your control." Then he turns to Zero, "And Zero..... as much as possible... try not to be too lovey-dovey with your girlfriend during the mission, k?" Zero is quite taken aback but just nods to his hyung along with Four.

"That's all I have to say really.... But I hope we are clear about the safety of your sub team and especially Seven." Nine eyes both operatives, who nod in sync.
