The Entity's Child (DBD) (PAUSED)

(A/N: to anyone who didn't see my little post and already read chapter 3. I rewrote a bit of the last part on chapter 3 because I did a dumb)

Meg tried hiding behind a wall from what probably was once a small building or shack. Her position was close to the outskirts of the wall.

The heartbeat slowly became louder and louder then a pop. All 5 generators were done; perfect timing too, the sounds of footsteps running away from Meg made her let out a sigh of relief then she got up and began making her way towards one of the exits.

It was too late to save Jake, he had been sacrificed. Claudette made her way towards one of the exits, hearing footsteps around her she picked up her pace. A simple sprint burst helped Meg catch up to her friend.

Upon arriving at the large metal door, Claudette grabbed the handle to the little power box that hung on the left of the large metal door.

Meg kept an eye out for the killer but there was no sign of them anywhere.

Half way through opening the door; a scream echoed in the distance. It was Kate, it appears she has been hooked. Meg gave a glance to Claudette who returned the look with a nod. Meg ran off in the direction towards the suffering woman.

As Meg approached she slowed down and cautiously approached Kate; looking around for the killer. Kate mouthed something but no sound came from her mouth.

Meg gave her a confused look as she quickly tried to pull her off. Another scream echoed in the distance; Meg's expression changed to concerned as she helped Kate down.

Kate coughed and watched as the ginger haired girl ran off. She was confused and unsure what to do then she noticed a slight glow in the distance and began making her way towards it. The exit gate, one of four escaped.

After having hooked the tattooed female, (Y/N) made her way towards one of the exits. So much was going on and going through her head.

As (Y/N) got closer to the large door she saw the woman that stood there holding the lever down. She approached her slowly. Static emitting from her instead of the sound of a heartbeat.

Claudette heard the static but didn't realize what it meant or who was behind as she opened the gates and as she turned she noticed the figure that approached at the corner of her eye. The woman turned her head and met the gaze of the killer, (Y/N).

(Y/N) watched and slowed down her approach.
"are you burdened by memories?"
The Entity's whisper echoed in (Y/N)'s head.
The closer she got to Claudette, The more the woman was able to recognize features from the killer.
"(Y/N)..?" She stared; forgetting that she should run through the exit gates instead.

As (Y/N) approached she slowed, her background beginning to look like static to the woman in front of her. She readied her weapon but she felt something was holding her back from hitting the survivor.

Everything felt as if it was moving so slow, the two exchanging glance. Claudette could now recognize that this killer was indeed her friend
"(Y/N).. what happened to you?" She asked but clearly not loud enough.

Her vision focused on (Y/N) but she noticed as the background begin to fade into static. Claudette shook her head and remembered that (Y/N) was the killer for this match, she could not hold still.

Knowing she couldn't try and make attempts to escape just yet; quickly, she moved her hand to her waist and pulled out her flashlight; aiming it directly in (Y/N)'s face. But remaining in place after with little time for the blind effect
