I didn't need a photo of Keith I could memorise every detail and I was actually surprised how well it was turning out.

My phone buzzed making me jump and making the pencil leave a faint line across Keith's nose.

It was Lance.

When are we going to do this thing?

I guess we could do it now?

I'll text Hunk, Allura and Shiro and if you could text Pidge and Keith to meet us at the control room and we will get started on it. :)

I texted Pidge who responded almost immediately, saying she would be there as soon as her coding session was finished.

Next was Keith.

Hey we were planning to do the coalition thing at the control room today.

I need to talk to you.

Ok, when?

Now on the roof please come alone.

Ok I'll be there in a bit.

My heart skipped a beat. Why did Keith want to see me? Did I do something wrong?

I texted Lance and told him I would be late to the group meeting and that I would grab some food as well.

I grabbed my jacket and ran up to the roof, feeling confused and excited, but also extremely nervous.

I reached the roof breathless and exhausted, I hate stairs. I suddenly felt someone pick me up and spin me around.

I looked up to see Keith smiling down at me.
"Hello." He said setting me on my feet.

"Hi. Now what's up?" I asked not attempting to get out of his hold.

"I wanted to tell you something before we see the others."

I turned around to face him, his face showed a mixture of worry and excitement. "Well what is it?"

"The blade of Marmora have offered me a place on their team." He said looking down slightly biting his lip.

"Wow that's so cool."

Keith looked up at me confused letting go of my waist.
"Really?"

"Yeah. Why? What's wrong?" I asked tilting my head.

"Well I don't know whether to go or not." Keith rubbed the back of his neck looking deep into my (e/c) eyes. "And your my best friend even more in fact and I wanted to discuss it with you before I make my decision."

I stared back a smile spreading on to my face.
I'm his best friend. Wait does that mean I have replaced Shiro?... And Matt?

"Well tell me about the team." I smiled warmly up at him.

"Well, their leader Kolivan he's incredibly serious and likes to keep everyone in order...

~~~about 5 mins~~~

... And they could be the allies we need to stop Zarkon." Keith smiled enthusiastically as he finished describing the team.

"Well they sound really cool." I smiled feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I pulled it out and my eyes widened when I saw the time and the messages from Lance and Pidge.

"We gotta run." I grabbed Keith's hand and dragged him towards the control room grabbing food as we did.

"Please don't kill me Lance." (Y/n) yelled as we ran into the room, (y/n) was still pulling me behind her.

Lance looked up from his screen and smiled.
"No worries we are never going to get this done in one evening."

"Wow that's looking really good." (Y/n) said leaning over his shoulder seeing the designs that they had so far come up with. "But the colour scheme could we change it to the colours of Voltron?"

She grabbed the mouse and edited two of the colours and changed them from gold to yellow, white to blue and a blank spot to (f/c).

Lance looked at what she had done before nodding in agreement. "That makes it a lot better. Thanks."

"No problem, now let's get to work." (Y/n) smiled brightly at me.
