Okay so maybe environment isn't all about littering but we have to think hard. What cause bad environment? What cause air pollution? What will happen to the planet if we aren't taking care of it? Earth is our home, and if we can't keep it together, clean, and fresh, the whole earth will be dusty, nasty, and filled with chemicals.
So what is the problem you ask?
Air pollution comes from the energy and chemicals that we use. It can cause the temperature to rise from the nasty things that are mixed or caught on like burn fossil fuels from factories/companies. It can also be caused by our cars, as when we drive somewhere, the gas goes up in the air and is being mixed with other chemicals.
There are two causes. It's called the smog and soot. What are they?
Smog- When fossil fuels react with sunlight
Soot- Small chemicals like soil, smoke, or dust can be caught or carried into the air
Smog and Soot are similar. They both come from cars, trucks, factories, power plants, or anything that is combine with fuels such as coals, gas, or even natural gas. They can be very dangerous to our lungs as we breathe in the air. It can cause heart attacks and deaths too. Smog can irritate the eyes, throat, and lungs when people are working outside.
Things that can cause air pollution:
- Smog and Soot
- Hazardous air pollutants
- Greenhouse gases
- Pollen and mold
These things can make the air worse and when we breathe it in our bodies, it can cause so much problems. It might even cause many deaths.
