Hoseok was the first to wake up the next morning. He smiled down at his boyfriend and best friend sleeping on eachother peacefully and pulled out his phone.

He snapped a picture to post on Instagram and then went to text Jungkook.

Hobi: I want you to know that you need to be there for Jimin. Whatever's going on with Tae. Please.
Kook: of course. Is he happier?

Hoseok confirmed this before slipping his phone away and untangling himself from the two other boys and headed for the kitchen.

He was mixing the ingredients for pancake batter when he felt arms wrap around his waist.

"Morning gorgeous," he smiled at Yoongi's deep morning voice and turned around to greet him.
"Hey there," Yoongi grinned sleepily as Hobi kissed the top of his head. They stood in their embrace until Jimin interrupted.

"Stop being so cute!" Both grinned at him and Hoseok ruffled his hair.
"Hi Chim. How are you?"
"Loads better, thanks guys," he grinned widely.
"Ooh... is that pancakes?!"

Half an hour later, the boys were sat around the kitchen table devouring the pancakes that Hoseok made. Yoongi turned to Jimin.

"Will you be okay today? We both have work," Jimin nodded as he chewed.
"As long as Taehyung doesn't turn up." Hoseok put his fork down with a clatter.
"If he comes anywhere near you-"
"He won't." Yoongi interrupted. "He wouldn't dare." Jimin turned his gaze to his food.
"Should I hang out with Kook today?"

Yoongi and Hobi looked at eachother cautiously.
"Well... he seems pretty keen to see you,"
"But you shouldn't if you're still nervous from the fight,"

Jimin nodded again, listening to the advice from his hyungs.

"Maybe we should meet somewhere public? Then if it happens to get heated again it'll get stopped pretty quick,"

Yoongi made an approving face. Hoseok raised an eyebrow.
"Jungkook won't do anything, I promise. He wants to take care of you." Jimin smiled and looked away to hide his blush.

The older boys made fun of him for his hugely obvious crush for the rest of the time they were there. Jimin didn't mind too much; they had helped him a lot and he was glad to have their company.

They left after about an hour, and Jimin trotted about the apartment wondering what to do. He guessed he should probably start with showering and changing out of the clothes he had slept in, so he did just that.

Jungkook texted him while he was in the shower. He regretted getting so caught up in the moment and upsetting Jimin, and he wanted to spend some time with him and apologise properly. He had woken up early and had been thinking all day about Jimin. He grinned wider than was probably possible as Jimin replied.

Kook: hey, I'm sorry about yesterday. Can I see you?
Jiminie: it's okay, I know you were just trying to protect me
Jiminie: meet me at the cafe by the mall at 11

He jumped up off the sofa and rushed off to get ready for what might be their first date.

He dressed in his usual white t shirt and black skinny jeans, but added a leather jacket over the top. Jungkook sighed as he tried to style his hair for the billionth time. It had to be perfect so that Jimin would think he was cute again.
