I'm Here (Zane x Reader)

Zane's POV

I slowly walked down the stairs and heard rattling. I then saw Y/N sitting down and making something in the kitchen. I slowly snake my hands around her waist.

"Morning Hun."

"Morning!." She said in a cheery voice.

"What'chu makin'?."I asked as I moved and sat beside her.

She looks at me with a frown.

" You don't remember?. " She asked.

" What?. "

" It's Zana's Birthday Silly!. " She said showing me a banner.

My eyes widened. It had a 'Happy 4th Birthday Zana!'

" So you did forget her.."She said with a pouty face.

"No, Y/n.. Well.. Yeah.. It's just, we've been busy with work and stuff and I forgot her birthday." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"How could you forget?! This is your favorite time of the year! To scare and terrify people! How could you forget?!." She whispered-yell.

"Well... Uhm.."

"Well, spit it out." She said tapping her foot and crossing her arms.

"Okay, I don't know. Just stressed that is.." I said sighing.

She kissed my cheek and smiled.

"Hey, Go Get Zana and bring her around the mall. Get her what she wants but make sure, we can afford it and it doesn't break the bank." She said calmly.

"Y/n, I'm terribly Sorry..I--."

"Shush. I'll handle the decorations and you get Zana out of the house. Return at 3:00 in the afternoon. Sharp." She said.

"Where's Zana?." I asked giving her a small smile.

"Looking for me Daddy?." A cute little voice said.

A little head peaked on the side of the door frame.

"Come here Zana." I said and she ran to my arms giggling.

"You look very cute today. What's the occasion my sweet bundle of joy?." Y/N asked kneeling and pinching her cheeks.

"It's mah Birthday!." Zana yelled.

"Awww. Daddy is going to bring you out today. He'll buy you the things you want and he'll bring you to places that are not to far from Mystreet."She said.

I saw Zana's face fall.

" But what about you mommy?."Zana asked.

Y/N sighed and gave a small smile.

" Mommy's very busy with work.. "Y/n said.

" But mommy.. "Zana whined.

" Don't worry, once mommy's done with work, I'll give you mommy's biggest gift!. "Y/N said giggling which made Zana giggle.

"Okay mommy. Just don't stress yourself okay?." Zana said in a concerned voice.

"Don't worry, your mother is capable of everything she does. So, let's head out okay?." I said.

Zana nodded. I stood up and held Zana's hands. We head inside the car and drive away.

"So, where do you want to go sweety?." I asked not leaving my eyes from the road.

"To the mall daddy.." She said.

"Zana, sweetheart, mommy's going to be fine. I promise." I said holding her hand.
