"Hey baby how was work?" My husband JahMezz asked greeting me with a hug and kiss as I walked in the door.
"Exhausting...But it's my love for it that keeps me there, So you know how that goes." I said slipping off my work shoes and setting my purse down, although being a physical therapist was demanding I loved the work that came with it.
"I know babe and you do a damn good job at it too." Jah said pulling me on the couch with my feet in his lap, he instantly started kneading into the tense flesh and I couldn't help but let out a small moan at his skillful hands.
"What are you buttering me up for?" I asked with low eyes, I could always tell when he wanted something.
"Nothing Baby...But remember we have dinner with Jay and Beyoncé tonight." My husband said and I instantly rolled my eyes pulling my feet out of his lap.
"JahMezz I'm tired, I just worked a 10 hour shift, maybe another time." I said getting up to head to our bedroom, Jay was JahMezz's best friend, he's a great guy and I loved him like a brother, but I really didn't want to be around Beyoncé, his wife.
"Baby come on, you always say that then we reschedule and never go, I haven't seen Jay in a minute, it's just dinner." JahMezz whined following me into our room, I huffed out a breath while slipping off my jewelry and throwing my hair into a messy bun.
"So why don't you and Jay just go out?" I asked, me nor Beyoncé needed to be in the same vicinity for the two of them to catch up.
"Because I want my gorgeous wife with me, plus Jay wants to see you baby, and I'm sure Beyoncé would love to see you too." JahMezz said pulling me into him, I rolled my eyes at the mention of her name.
"Whatever Jah, hurry up and get dressed before I change my mind." I said before removing myself from his hold, I guess I just had to suck my feelings up because I knew he'd just keep bothering me about it.
"Thank you baby! I love you!" Jah said as I walked into the bathroom, I didn't respond back as I closed the door, because I bet if he knew what I did those words wouldn't come out his mouth so easy.

"Baby can you cheer up, it's just dinner you'll enjoy yourself." JahMezz said as we sat in his Benz coupe outside a plush restaurant named 'The Zone'.
"I'm fine JahMezz, I told you I'm just tired." I said as I checked my makeup in the mirror.
