Ignoring the One You Like

Do you think ignoring someone will help you? What do you think of him? Someone who has a very contagious disease? Just like that, you avoid him.

Yes, you like him. Then why bother wasting your time ignoring him? Just because he has done something that you greatly don't like doesn't mean he is an evil person as you think. Oh, so it makes you turn off, or shall I say, you are being discouraged by his specific action. For Pete's sake, he is just a human. Be glad he has shown his real color and you just actually can't accept the very fact that he didn't pass your qualifications.

First and foremost, if you really like him, you must give him the chance to reveal things, especially the good things he hasn't done yet. Don't be so naive! If you like him, then take time to show him that he is very welcome in your heart. What can you get by just staring at him like there is no tomorrow? Oh come on, don't waste your time. But wait, don't make the first move if it is unnecessary. Learn to wait, and observe things in silence. You might end up humiliated upon rushing things. You are a girl. Put that on your mind. And if you really like him, accept his flaws, imperfections, and bad habits and try to not force him to change just to fit your standard. You can't go anywhere with that. Or else better stop liking him but don't ignore him. That is another story. On the other hand, he will change if he likes you, and most importantly if he respects you.

Have you ever thought if he likes you back? What if doing things unacceptable to you with purpose? He is just testing you. You can't depend on your first impression. What you see is not what you get in this course. You never know what he thinks about you. So avoid planting bad thoughts about him and get turned off right away on the very first phase of knowing him. If what he has shown to you is not tolerable, then why pine your attention in him? It is worse to be imprisoned in a feeling where you can't move forward happily. It is even worse if you keep pretending he will change when in the first place it is his nature and be with him acting like he is the nicest guy on Earth. Who knows what I am stating now is partly wrong! Just don't get me wrong, love is too powerful to see what is right and wrong, what is tolerable and intolerable, and what is acceptable and unacceptable. When you feel it, you can't really deny it.

So here is the bottom line, ignoring someone you like won't make you like him less. If you like him, you like him. You just can't be affected right away. Ignoring someone because you are scared you might fall for him won't help you stop what you feel. Everybody is blinded with love and definitely, it takes time to realize you are being hypnotized by its power.
