The car came to a stop and my eyes fluttered open. I looked out the window and gasped, looking at the giant mansion in front of us.

"Close your mouth before a fly gets caught in there."
I scoffed, glaring at Taeyong but closed my mouth none the less. I sighed and climbed out of the car, walking up the steps and entered the house.
My jaw dropped once again upon entering the house. The interior was more modern than I had expected it to be. I thought it was going to be dark walls with red and black painted everywhere.
Instead, there were two beige couches that were placed in a circle in a pit of sort, a beige table that could even be an ottoman in the middle.
Blonde hardwood placed under my feet, extending to what looked like the entire house. A grand single swirly staircase that led upstairs, but the staircase was big enough to have a big 4×4 car drive up it.
An ice crystal chandelier hung in the middle of the staircase where it travelled up in a spiral. Another chandelier hung above the couches, an identical one to the one by the stairs.
When looking past the staircase, I could see a glimpse of the kitchen. The kitchen seemed to be matching the beige theme of the rest of the house, giving it that modern but vintage look.
To my right was a fireplace that had fresh wood placed inside it and a white double seated couch was placed in front of it, but at a distance, so it wouldn't get burnt. Two white single couches placed on either side of the other couch, angled slightly to face the fireplace.
A sliding door was placed a few feet away from the fireplace, leading to the pool outside. A bunch of pool chairs placed evenly around it with umbrellas placed next to them.
I looked to my left and immediately got excited by the huge library. I quickly ran into the library, gawking at the number of books that were placed neatly on the shelves.
There were seats spread across the room, a clump of them together in the middle of the room as well. The library itself was about as big as my house!
I think this might be my favourite hiding place from now on. I mean, I'm going to need some sort of escape to forget all this and reading is the perfect way to do that.
Reading is one of my favourite things to do in my spare time anyway, and by the looks of all the books that are here, I'll be enjoying my get away.
I'm sure ill be bored out of my mind around here, so I'll definitely have more than enough time to read as many books as I can. I might even be able to read all these books by the time I die. Maybe I should make that my new life goal since I don't have anything else.
I don't even know if I'm going to be finishing high school, there are only two months left anyway. But it would still be nice if I could finish school, see my friends as well, maybe even sneak a visit with my parents.
