Hey it's me again. Not much for me to say right now but enjoy. Thanks. This is a long part. I been writing chapters in a journal in school so I won't be writing at night or so i won't forget any ideas. It's been really helpful.

March

Ness walked into a dark alleyway, not really a secure place to take a night stroll. He covered his nose with his shirt, to block out bad odors. The stench of the dumpsters were hard and strong. Stray cats wondered around and jumped from dumpsters. A cat rubbed its head against Ness's leg to indicate it was hungry. He took out his bag to get his lunch out. Ness took out a sandwich and slid the ham out. He laid it down on the wet pavement as a couple of cats gathered around it. He noticed a cat take out a half eaten chicken leg from the dumpster. This reminded him from the time he took out a hamburger from the trash can.

Sometimes you can find some interesting things in there.

The sound of the light pouring rain soothed him. Rain speckles dripped on his thick hair making it glow like a crystal. He had his baseball bat in hand as he was going to go practice. Rarely any one would be at the park at night, much less, in the rain. It was also a perfect time to practice in peace and avoid any obnoxious people. Plus, a group of teens would always hog the practice field. They didn't do anything, they just stood there. They would stare at young disappointed looks with smug looks as they walked away. At one point, Ness thought that he could just practice on the opposite side of the field. The field wasn't very big, so there was a small distance between Ness and the group of troubled teens. He was about to begin his session when they started approaching him, circling him.

"What are you doing here, little fella?" said a tall boy with a wide grin.

"The playground is over there, sweetie." said a girl who had a goth style of clothing
(Note: not saying that people who have styles like that are bad.)

Ness wasn't at all imitated by them, in fact, he ignored them. His baseball was at a swinging position as he stared at the towering group. The smell of cigarettes was inevitable to avoid, his nostrils sucked up the stench and he gagged. Why would he be afraid of them? He beat a monster that would most likely traumitize these kids by just taking a glimpse at it. The circle grew smaller and the stench was stronger. Ness decided enough was enough. He set down his bat. He decided to just leave to avoid any problems. Even if they picked up a fight, he could beat them with just a point of a finger. Hello? He's a physic. But he wasn't a violent person at all.

Ness showed no expression to not give them the satisfaction of a reaction they expected. He tried to squeeze out of the circle without pushing anybody. They didn't budge.

"Didn't you hear us?"

"Scared? Let's show you some real fear."

"He'll just scream for his mommy like that other kid."

"Move, please." said Ness suddenly. "You're in my way." He squeezed out of the circle with force.

They stared at him in shock. It seemed they weren't used to people standing up for themselves, and just gave into them out of fear. They robbed, beaten, and insulted people. Ness carried his bat on his shoulder and his ball in his hand. He tossed the ball up and down in his hand in a sassy way as he left the field, not looking back.
(This is a flashback)

Ness had more experiences with the group, but they were just regular rude people interactions.
He then reached the field. To his annoyance, he saw the group of teens. Their tall silhouettes in the rain were hard to miss, especially since there were many of them. He sighed and sat down on a bench under a tree to avoid being seen.
