Person of POV 3

Alex heard Thomas hiss and smiled slightly, holding onto Elizabeth carefully and hopping down the tree.

She squeaked and held onto Alex, giggling.

Thomas walked over to where they were and picked up Elizabeth, hugging her close. She smiled and relaxed into his chest, yawning.

"Looks like you tired her out," Thomas said with a grin. Alex glared at him and huffed.

"You'd make a good dad Alex, I'm being serious," Thomas said with a more serious look. Alex blushed and floated over to Thomas, kissing his cheek.

"Well I can't be a good parent to her without my other half," Alex whispered and hugged Thomas.

Anyone passing by would've thought they were just a cute hybrid couple taking care of their lil baby when in reality they could and would rip your neck out in one swift move if you even as much as looked at them the wrong way.

Alex kissed Thomas' cheek and started floating away. "I'm assuming you brought me something to eat so I'll go get that while you watch Elizabeth."

"Alright, I'll be here," Thomas called out and floated to the top of the tree.

John looked around the clearing, curious. Laf stopped next to him.

"I've noticed this clearing is a place we always end up at," Laf pointed out, his ears twitching slightly.

John thought about it and nodded. "Its amazing, how could someone miss it."

There was a rustle in the bushes around them. They instantly went into attack mode, listening intently and holding their claws up.

"Looks like we've found some more people to...rid of," a voice spoke from the forest, seemingly coming from the top of a tree.

Laf froze.

"We could kill them, but I think we have enough food to last us for now. We could always use their help to get more, and to achieve our goal," They could almost feel the people speaking grinning.

"No...no no no, John we've gotta go," Laf mumbled and John couldn't have agreed faster.

(Oops)

A dark red blast came their way and they expected to be blown up, but instead they were frozen in place.

Fuck.

Maria giggled and stepped out of the forest line into the clearing. She turned back and let out a loud hiss before turning back to the two males frozen in place.

Herc stepped out of the forest line. He immediately noticed Laf and his eyes widened.

Maria raised an eyebrow and watched as Herc ran up to Laf, unfreezing him and hugging him tightly.

Laf hesitated before hugging back. Deep down he was grateful that Herc still recognized him.

"I missed you..." Laf mumbled.

(Hehehe)

"I missed you too...Im sorry..." Herc said and placed his hands in Laf's head.

Laf's eyes widened and he tried to pull away but he noticed he couldn't move his arms or legs anymore.
