The Return

~AJ's POV~

I gently wrapped bandages around Petra's swollen wrist.

"What happened to you?" Lukas asked. "Hadrian tried to use me as bait. He forced a pill down my throat and left. I yanked my wrist way to hard trying to get it free." Petra replied,still kinda shaking.

"Hey,he's not gonna hurt you anymore." I said,placing my hand on her bruised cheek.

She smiled a little. "The important thing is your ok. I have no idea what I'd do if I lost my older sister." Lukas said.

He softly kissed her forehead. Petra smiled and hugged Lukas.

Lukas hugged her back,smiling.

"I love you sis." Lukas said. "I love you too little bro." Petra said,kinda starting to cry.

Lukas gently ran his fingers through her soft red hair.

"Can I sleep with you dude?" Petra asked. "Sure. I could use your company." Lukas answered.

I gently rubbed Petra's back as she slept. I know she was embarrassed to admit it but she was scared. So was I.

"I'm glad your safe sis. I promise I'll protect you." I whispered.

I slowly fell asleep.

~The middle of the night~

I heard a noise downstairs. "Petra,Petra wake up." I said quietly. She slowly opened her eyes.

"Lukas? What is it?" Petra groaned in exhaustion.

"I heard something." I said. We both changed and slowly snuck downstairs.
