Rei POV

I look at the stars, someone climbs up by me. "I figured I would find you up here." Alex says, "I heard you were in Solitary Confinement when Charles and Erik found you." I say. He lays down by me.

"Yeah. You sound like you've felt that before." He says, I close my eyes. I rest my arm over my eyes, "I do, I was put in their." I answer. I can tell he's shocked, "Why were you in there?" He asks. 

I sit up, and look away. I don't stop the tears from falling, I let them fall. "I blew up my whole hometown, that's when I knew what I was, a monster." I say, Alex turns my head towards his. He rests his forehead against mine.

He brushes the tears away, "You are no monster Rei, you are too beautiful." He says. " I am a mon-" I am silenced by Alex's kiss, my eyes widen. He wraps his arms around my waist, he pulls back.

"I love the real you, the kid-hearted, loving one."
