If I was meant to be controlled
I would have come with a remote.*Edited
I was up till 6am, which means that I didn't sleep a wink the whole night. The interrogation session with Adam ended around 2:30am and must I say, he is a quite nice person. He answered everything politely, as if he was talking to Wren's parents.
My alarm went off signaling it was time to get ready for school. It didn't matter, though, because I was up anyway.
The best thing about this room is that I got my own bathroom, and I like it that way. I don't know about other rooms but this one is definitely up to my expectations and more. My bags were already placed in the room when I entered it last night.
It was all I thought about, the whole night. My mind was so occupied that I couldn't think about sleep, and now I'll be walking around the school, looking like a freaking zombie. What did I ever do to the world?
By 7:30am I was ready, all that was on my mind was, whether I should go down or wait for someone (I don't know who) to come to my room.
Feeling silly for waiting I decided to walk out the room and downstairs.
The house was in full buzz. Everyone was there in the hall, and by everyone, I mean, all of the werewolf community that lives here.
That reminds me, what will be Blake's reaction when he finds out the truth? Even if he knows about the werewolves, it will be hard to believe that he is dating one, or that I am with one.
Ugh... How the hell am I supposed to put these things together? I hate this so much. Lying to Blake is the worst thing I could do, and the worst thing I have ever done.
Entering the dining hall, I saw almost every guy shirtless and crowding around the kitchen counter, with someone cooking the food for them, maybe some omegas.
I started looking for Blake around the house, but a sweet, feminine voice stopped me in my tracks.
"Oh dear! Who might you be?" I looked in the direction of the voice and saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life.
She has blonde hair, and a quite fair complexion and chocolate brown eyes, similar to that of Edward's. She has a huge smile etched in her beautifully crafted face. She might be in her mid-thirties, but if she is a werewolf, she has to be much older than that, because werewolves age much slower than humans.
I smiled at her as she started to walk towards me from across the kitchen counter. Then I noticed that everyone's eyes were in me with a confused gesture on their face.
The woman was wearing a full-sleeved, black top with dark washed jeans, as she came in front of me and held my face in both her hands.
"Oh, my god! Look at you! You are so beautiful. What is your name?" She asked me, and I couldn't help but smile back at her.
" My name is Ava." I told her. Her eyes widened at this as she pulled me into a bone crushing hug.
"Oh dear, it's a delight to finally meet you, I've heard so much about you. The son of mine won't shut up for a second." I frowned at her, and she seemed to notice it.
"Oh, where are my manners? I'm Amanda. Ash- Edward's mom." She said. "I can't believe my son found you after all."
The guys behind us seemed to have come out of their daze and realized something and bowed down in respect. I frowned at their gesture, but ignored it.
"I see you have met Ava, mother." Came a deep voice from the direction where I came from.
I saw Edward walking towards the hall with a smile on his face. He came and hugged his mother and looked at me with a smile.
"Oh, I have. She is so beautiful, you did so good Ash, she is such a delightful little thing." She said to him.
Ash? Why did she call him Ash? I thought. But then it might be some family thing, so I didn't bother.
"Yeah, we should get going, or else we'll be late for school." He said to me and I nodded at him.
"Now? At least have something to eat." His mom persisted but he declined her. Seems like he doesn't wanna be here.
He walked out of the hall and I followed him awkwardly, not knowing what else to do. We reached out of the house and he stopped in front of the main door.
"Keys." He said to the person standing in front of the gate. He was the same person who brought us here yesterday. He smiled and handed Edward the keys and nodded his head at the man.
"Come. You will go with me today." He said to me, while going in the driveway which had his Ferrari parked.
"I think I should go with Blake. I haven't seen him yet." I say to him. He frowned and replied.
"Everyone else have left already. It's just you and me." He said, grinning at me at the end.
"Why do you want me to believe that Blake left without me?" I asked him.
"Because he has." He replied and entered his car.
Blake would never leave me alone anywhere. It's a total lie. I took out my phone and dialed his number.
He picked up after three rings.
"Where are you?" We both asked at the same time.
"Wait, you're not here?" Again, we answered at the same time.
"Okay, stop. Where are you?" Blake said this time.
"I'm at the house. Where are you?" I asked.
"I'm at the school. Chris told me you already left. I couldn't believe that you'd leave without me."
"And I can't believe you left without me." I said and entered the car.
Edward looked at me, and when I narrowed my eyes, he seemed to understand what happened and started the car, avoiding eye contact with me.
"What can I do? I was lied to." Blake defended himself.
"It's okay. I'll be there in ten minutes." I said and ended the call.
"So... How's your day going?" The person beside me said, and might I add, in a desperate attempt to lessen the tension between us.
"You think it will be that simple? You guys lied to him!" I shouted at him, and I am not in a very good mood right now.
"No, we didn't. We just told him what is going to happen after a few minutes. See?" He said, still avoiding eye contact.
I didn't reply to him, and I plan on doing that for a while.
