Chapter 16

When I got there I parked and got out the car. I started walking into the school and when I did, I walked to the lockers.

I opened mine slowly. Hic was already here. When I opened it I just stared at it. "Whoa, Elsa. Are you alright? You look a little tired or something." Hic said.

"Yeah I'm fine." I replied and got my stuff as Hic watched me while I did so. "Where's Jack?" He asked. "I would ask you the same question. But we both don't know." I said and shut my locker.

I leaned against it. Hiccup stood next to me, leaning on Jack's locker. "I keep having the nightmare Hic." I whispered. "Have you told Jack about it?" He asked.

"He's too busy. Basically now the only time we have with each other is in some of our classes and lunch. And at lunch most of the time he's talking to Bunny or someone else." I replied and Hiccup sighed.

"It's okay. Come here." He said and engulfed me in his arms. I sighed in his embrace and we stayed that way until I heard someone clear their throat.

I hoped it was Jack as I pulled away. It was Punzie. "Hey guys. Is everything good?" She said smiling lightly.

"Of course." I replied, smiling back. She nodded and opened her locker. After awhile Mer showed up. As the bell rang I spotted Jack with Tooth.

They were both talking, Jack smirking and Tooth laughing throughout their conversation.

I felt a feeling in my stomach. Hic stood in front of me. "Let's go to History class." He said and basically pulled me to history. At least I was able to bring my grade up to an A.

We both sat in our seats and Jack walked in. He sat next to me. "Hey snowflake. How are you?" He asked. "Good." I replied and he seemed to be studying my face until I looked away.

The lesson started so I started to write.

At lunch...

I was already sitting at the table with Hiccup. Jack was with Tooth again. "You alright?" He asked. "Yeah." I mumbled. "You don't look like it." He said.

I shrugged and someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and was face to face with Pitch. "Ugh it's you." I spat.

"Now now Elsa, I just wanted to talk." He said and sat next to me. "Hey, get out of here." Hiccup said, anger in his voice.

"Hmm, no thanks." He said and placed a hand on my leg. I slapped his arm and he retreated his hand. "What the actual fuck? Get out of here. Now." Hiccup said sternly, standing up.

"Where's Punzie and Mer?" I asked him. "They're coming."

"Hey! You! Get out of our table and get your hands off of Elsa!" Punzie said louder than expected.

"I don't think so." He said and attempted to kiss me but I stood up and slapped him.

"Get out of here now, Pitch. Or I'll make you." Mer said and put the tray on the table. "Oh I'm so scared." Pitch mocked her accent.

I looked over at Jack who was still talking to Tooth. But Sandy noticed us. I gave him a pleading look and he tapped Jack's shoulder who shrugged him off.

"Oh would you look at that. Your boyfriend doesn't even notice you. That's probably the best boyfriend ever, right?" Pitch said smirking.

"Alright buddy. You're taking it too far. Just get out of here before things get bad." Hiccup said, standing next to me.

"Let's see how 'bad' things can go." Pitch spat and anger took over me. I slapped him as hard as I could, making Hiccup laugh.

Pitch glared at me before attempting to hit me but Mer stopped him. "You've got no manners, Pitch." Punzie said and crossed her arms.
