"Let's go to a beach, I feel like ice cream" I smiled

Luke nodded, halfway there he turned to me "why haven't you given up yet?"

"What do you mean?" I asked confused

"On me, you still talk to me, Ashton has given up on me, but you, you keep trying"

I looked at my feet "because, honestly? I still love you, and I don't think anything will change that, but I did try, but seriously? How can you look at the person you love and tell yourself to walk away?"

"Don't give up yet, please, I want to remember I do, because I look at you and I feel home, I feel like I know you I just can't remember, the same for Ashton and Calum"

"I'm not giving up, ever" I reached over and grabbed Luke's hand "let me show you some places that might help you remember"

I ended up taking Luke to a small cafe near a beach.

"We came here for our first date after the interview" I explained

"How did we start dating?" Luke asked

"That was all you, in an interview a fan said 'why are you straight?' Maybe the guy had a crush on you, so when the interviewer asked who you like you looked at me"

Luke smiled "I wish I could remember"

"You will, you need to, I miss you"

The pair us sat quietly at the table listening to the music, when the next song began I smiled, but I almost felt like crying

I sat miming the words a small smile on my face when Luke spoke up

"It's our song" he said simply

"What?" I asked "how do you know that?"

"I saw us, sitting here, this song playing and you telling me it will be our song"

"You remembered?"

After that we headed back to the hospital to see Calum.

"Is he awake?" I asked Ashton who was at reception

He nodded "he'll be fine, I'm just signing release papers" Ashton's eyes wandered to Luke

"Hey Luke, listen, I'm sorry, I didn't mean what I said, also I'm sorry I punched you"

"Nah, I deserved the punch, I shouldn't have been so horrible"

Ashton noticed that I was holding Luke's hand "do you remember?"

"Little bits, hopefully it will come back soon"

"Let's hope so, go see Calum, Michael help me fill these in"

I nodded and watched as Luke left

"How did he remember?" Ash asked me

"I took him to a cafe we went when we started dating and 'Nine in the Afternoon' by 'Panic! At The Disco' started playing, which I always said was our song and he knew"

"So hopefully we'll have Luke back soon?"

I nodded

"Thank god, I've missed him"
