Frozen: The Hero's Return

"Arendelle. Wow. It hasn't changed a bit, after all these years." Ben was full of excitement. Seeing such a great kingdom again is going to be a whole new experience. But at the same time, he was rather nervous too. Everyone who attended the coronation arrived on ships. He even saw the welcoming party at the docks from the mountain. People might find it strange that he just appeared out of nowhere. He had to come up with something to say when he was asked that why didn't they see him at the docks. But right now, he was too busy exploring the town. The ball will only take place after the princess is officially crowned, so he has some time. He walked around the town, admiring everything it had to offer. The market, the town square, the church. Everything was beautiful, but a little different from what he remembered. He wanted to savour the time he spent here, after all, you don't get to see buildings like that on Bellwood. Thankfully, people either didn't notice or didn't care that he wasn't at the docks. No one had asked him about how did he get to Arendelle, or where did he come from. Heck, they didn't even ask him about his casual clothing. Everyone is in a fancy suit and everything while he's only wearing a green jacket, a black t-shirt underneath and blue pants. 

He was currently strolling along the shore, looking at the sea. The princess' coronation was only half an hour away, so he decided to take a relaxing walk before it. He didn't know why, but the sight of the ocean always calmed him. And he needed it because he became a little nervous that he didn't know how to act at an event like that. He wished he could see some royalties, so he could see how they act around other people.

But consider this a wish come true, because, in the next moment, Ben found himself on the ground, feeling as if cannonbolt rolled at high speed and then bumped him. As he rubbed the back of his head to ease the pain, he slowly stood up and heard an angry voice.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" He turned his head towards the voice, a scowl forming on his face. There, standing before him, was a young woman with fiery strawberry blond hair, bright blue eyes, and a face dusted with freckles. Her hair was pulled back in a messy bun, and a simple green dress adorned her slender frame.

"Me?! You were the one who-" Ben's eyes suddenly widened. This girl looked familiar. Really familiar. She, in turn, was staring at him with a similar mixture of surprise and recognition. To Ben, it seems like they met before. "Have we met before? You kinda look..." Ben fumbled for words, his initial annoyance forgotten.

"Familiar? Yeah, you either." The girl responded with a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes.

"If I'm not mistaken," Ben continued, a wild guess forming in his mind, "you must be... Anna. Right?" He added cautiously, a flicker of hope battling with disbelief. "Anna, is that really you?"

"Yes. I am Princess Anna of Arendelle," she confirmed, a confident lilt in her voice.

Ben's eyes widened in realization. "Haha! I knew it!" he chuckled, relief and a hint of something else washing over him. "So, do you still remember me?" He asked, a playful glint in his eyes.

"I'm still remembering." She scrutinizes his face, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Do I... know you?"

"Dum dum, it's me. Ben." His voice held a hopeful tremor. Anna blinked, her gaze flitting across his face, searching for a familiar spark.

"Dum dum?" she said, a hint of amusement dancing in her voice. A flicker of recognition seemed to ignite in her eyes, but then a shadow of doubt crossed them. Finally, a hesitant smile tugged at her lips. "Ben?"

"Took you what, forever?" he teased, stepping forward and punching her lightly on the arm.

"Ben?" She said with a hint of wonder. "Oh! That's right! Ben!" The realization seemed to dawn on her, and with a burst of warmth, she rushed forward and engulfed him in a tight hug. "It's so nice to see you again! How are you doing?" Anna exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine joy.
