Loki x reader || Fragments

Y/n ~

We sat for a while in our cells in silence, I was tossing rocks at the wall. Our magic was suppressed by a shield so this was the only thing that was keeping me entertained.

We still had our armor on but our weapons were locked in the throne room with the king.

I heard footsteps and turned around. The dark king walked in with his hands folded on front of him.

"Hello my prisoners, I bet you both have questions." He grinned at us.

I lurched forward at him angry. "What do you think!" I hissed at him baring my teeth. Me and Loki were stuck in our Jotun and elf forms.

Loki also pulled on his chains. "What are you planning on doing to us?" He glared at him with red eyes.

"I want you to help me take over Asgard."

I looked at Loki.

"You tricked Odin?" I asked interested.

"Of course, have you seen what hes done to this planet? He killed seventy-five percent of our population including the last king and queen, your parents." He said looking at me again.

I just stared at him. "What?" 

"Oh yes, y/n. I, the high king, am your uncle.

Loki and I exchanged looks.

"Why are we in chains?" Loki asked him getting his attention.

He chuckled, "I'm sorry, I put you in chains because I wasn't sure of your reaction after I told you I needed your help.

He snapped his fingers and our chains were gone. We had also changed back to our regular forms.

"Come with me," the king said turning around.

We followed the king out of the dungeons and to the throne room.

"Here, you might be wanting these," he said snapping his fingers again and our weapons appeared before us.

We grabbed them and continued to follow the elf to a large table.

"In two weeks, we will go to Asgard with as many elves we can find. I want you two to go out into the city and forest to find recruits, after you've found enough, you will train them to fight, I only have a few warriors left and most of my people can wield a sword but it's been a long time since they've even seen one," the king said looking out the large broken window to the city.

I nodded my head and glanced to Loki, he was also looking out the window.

Me and Loki got onto two horses the king lent us, it made me sad, Odin took our horses with him back to Asgard. My horse was the second most close thing to me. It was the most loyal animal I have ever met.

As we rode, we saw how horrible the land was, I couldn't believe Odin did this, he ruined a beautiful planet of people and killed almost all of them, including my parents.

We approached the ruined city and split up. I took the east side, and Loki took the west.

I walked up to the first house and knocked on the door, I changed my form so I wouldn't scare them.

"Who is it?!" A shaky voice called from inside.

"I don't want to hurt you, the king sent me." I said back and I heard a click from the lock.

A female elf opened the door and looked at me.

"Oh my, is it who I think it is? I-I" She bowed her head at me.
