Unbroken

They both walked back in silence. Hannah didn’t know that Jai and the other boys Hannah turned back around and stayed sitting. Jai sat next to her. They didn’t say anything. Jai looked at Hannah as the tears fell down her cheeks. He knew he had gotten everything wrong. He loved Hannah yes, but like a best friend or a sister. He knew this now. He wished he knew this earlier.

‘Hannah, I’m sorry. I was wrong about wanting you to be my girlfriend. I love you but like a best friend or a sister.’ He took her hand.

Hannah looked at him. She wipped away her tears and just looked at him before she digged her head into his chest and began to cry some more. Jai wrapped his arms around her as they just sat there. They didn’t move at all. Jai felt his phone go off but he didn’t look at it. He didn’t want to move Hannah. After about an hour Hannah looked up at Jai.

‘Jai, I’m sorry.’ She said wipping the fresh tears away.

‘Hannah, don’t be. Why don’t you stay at ours tonight? It’s a bit late for you to be going home on your own.’ He said helping her stand up.

‘Thanks Jai.’ She said taking his hand.

They both walked back in silence. Hannah didn’t know that Jai and the other boys knew that she was pregnant. Jai didn’t want to mention it. She would tell him when she was ready. Jais phone had died before he got to look at his missed calls and texts. They didn’t rush home. They walked slowly. Hand in hand. Hannahs phone kept going off every now and again but she didn’t attempt to look at who it was. She didn’t want to talk to anyone.

When they arrived at the Brooks house Jai was expecting it to be empty. When they walked in they heard Daniels voice. He was stressing out. They walked into the living room to see Daniel pacing as the other boys tried to calm him down. They all turned to the door when they noticed them standing there.

‘Where the hell have you been?’ Daniel shouted at them both.

Hannahs hand tightened around Jais. She was scared of what Daniel would do. She could feel the tears in her eyes build up. Jai looked at Hannah and noticed how scared she was.

‘We were just at the bus stop.’ He said calmly.

‘We’ve been worried sick, you know she’s pregnant! You could of called and told us’ Daniel raged.

‘My phone died.’ Jai snapped back as he took Hannah to sit down.

‘You told them!’ Hannah shouted.

Everyone was surprised. None of them had heard her shout before. Not even Daniel. Hannah didn’t know what to do. She just looked at them all and began to walk out. She felt ashamed. She was pregnant. She thought they would think poorly about her. Jai grabbed her hand before she could begin to walk and sat her down next to him again. Daniel looked at her. He knew he shouldn’t have told them.

‘I’m sorry Hannah, I had to. We had to find you.’ He said sitting down on the other chair. ‘You don’t need to be worried though, they don’t think any different of you.’ He told her.

‘What?’ All the boys said together.

‘Why would we think any different of you Hannah? You’re like our little sister, of course we aren’t going to judge you.’ Luke comforted her.

‘Do you know who the Dad is?’ Beau asked.

Hannah smiled at the support she was getting from the boys and nodded in response to Beaus question.

‘Who?’ James asked.

‘Jackson.’ She looked down.

‘Does he know?’ Jai hugged her.

‘Yeah, when I told him he broke up with me.’ Hannah let a few tears escape but stopped herself from crying.

‘WHAT!?’ All the boys but Daniel shouted. Daniel was in his own world.

‘I’m going to kill him.’ Luke shouted.

All the boys felt the same. How could Jackson break up with Hannah when he knows she got him pregnant? That is the worst thing a boy could ever do. Hannah fell asleep soon after. Her and Daniel were talking and she fell asleep on his chest. The boys were all going to be there for Hannah. No matter what.
