There are at least a thousand miles between me and him.

I won't forgive them for doing this.

My true love is too far from me.

I will find him once again.

Jongin awakens from his small bed, a slight creak emitting from the cheap bed frame from the shift of weight. Jongin stretches gently, a silent pop heard from his shoulders. He yawned and rubbed his eyes before looking over and checking the time.

9:38 AM

Jongin cracks his back before letting his feet touch the floor reluctantly. Everything had already lost its color, and there was nothing that interested Jongin where he was. It would've been heaven if he was with his love. Anywhere with his love would've been a utopia.

Jongin trudged down the stairs, only to be greeted by a warm friendly smile from his mother. Jongin slightly scowls. Out of all things he could see when he first wakes up, Jongin definitely didn't want to see his mother.

"What's wrong?" His mother asks innocently, taking a seat on a chair near a table. The table had some soup already distributed in a bowl, a spoon sticking out and steam still emitting from it.

"Don't act like you don't know," Jongin muttered bitterly as he takes a seat in front of the soup. The sight of food, in general, made Jongin yearn for his love's cooking.

"Still sad over the Soo boy?" His mother asks, a bit of disgust embedded into her tone. It was the voice Jongin was expecting.

"No, I'm sad that I got no fork for this soup," Jongin replies, his voice heavily depicting sarcasm.

"It's been like a month already!" His mother sighs and scoots the chair closer to Jongin's, her hand patting his back. "He's probably over you by now, so you need to get over him."

His mother's touch felt like fire scorching his back. Jongin slightly hisses before yanking himself away. He didn't care that the spoon fell on the floor. Instead, he replied with an angry tone, "No! We still love each other, I don't care what you say!" His teeth are clenched as he turns away.

"Excuse me, young man? I am your mother! I did you a favor by separating you two!" His mother interjects, her face red in anger. She couldn't believe his son, there was no way he could be with that disgusting egg-shaped head boy. He's supposed to be with a pretty female like his mom.

"No, you didn't! I don't give a fuck who you are to me!" Jongin roars before he stomps away and heads back up the stairs. He reaches his room and slams the door shut, a loud banging noise resonating through the house. His fists were clenched tightly.

Jongin flopped on his bed, wanting to feel the same comfort he had felt when he was with Kyungsoo. He wanted to hear Kyungsoo's warm voice. Instead, all he hears is a deafening silence and a slight rustle from the kitchen.

Time passed and Jongin had fallen asleep, hugging his pillow as if he was hugging Kyungsoo. His dream was also about Kyungsoo. He couldn't help himself, and he could only trust that Kyungsoo felt the same at that exact same moment. He could only wish that the love he emits somehow reaches Kyungsoo. If only.

Jongin was awoken by a banging noise on the door, it was almost as if the door was gonna fall off its hinges in a minute or so. Jongin shuffles to his feet and opens the door, slightly stumbling back when he sees his mother with a snarl.

"Kim Jongin. Get your lazy ass out of your room and go outside and do something. I will not allow you to think about that boy any more than you already have!" His mother barked, pointing aggressively to the front door. A vein or two bulged from her forehead as her own teeth were clenched, her hand on the doorframe that wasn't pointing was digging its nails into the wood.

Jongin scrunches his face up at his mother before he slams the door at her face, the wind blowing her hair a bit. His mother's jaw dropped in utter shock at the amount of disrespect his son has been showing. Unacceptable.

"KIM JONGIN! YOU OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" His mother banged on the doot once again. Jongin simply kicks the door in response before flopping back onto his bed. He shoved a pillow over his ears, trying to block the noise. Faintly, Jongin whispers, "Soo, hang in there."

///

Kyungsoo pounds on the wall with his teeth clenched. He can't seem to let go of Jongin, he can't risk losing someone so special. "I don't care if I die..." Kyungsoo whispers to himself, his voice weak and hesitant. "I will die knowing Jongin is still in my heart, and I'm still in his."

Kyungsoo takes a small bite out of a piece of bread that was slid from underneath his door. Kyungsoo had been living off of a slice of bread every day, for the past 3 weeks. He had one bottle of water and no access to technology or the outside world. Thankfully, he has his own bathroom in his room. Besides that, Kyungsoo's being held captive in his own room.

Kyungsoo's sick of the bland taste of bread, although everything tastes bland now. Everything was useless without the presence of Jongin. It really comes to show how bad they depend on each other. How the loved each other.

Kyungsoo banged on the wall once again. There was a dent on the wall from all of the pounding, and adjacent from this dent are 3 holes in the wall. Blood stained the carpeted floor, and dried blood covered Kyungsoo's hand. He had no other thing yet to pound the wall, and so the wall was Kyungsoo's victim.

Taking a deep breath, Kyungsoo tries to calm himself as he takes a sip of water. "Jongin... hang in there..."

End Chapter 1..?

{Author's Note: Wow, that was pretty bad. Sorry I suck at writing, goddammit. Either way, I finally updated, it's 2:38 AM, you're welcome. You can expect weekly updates on either this fanfic or chanbaek. Might also start a story with an insane character. Insanity is fun. Please leave your thoughts, insults on writing make me feel noticed. I also can't see the keyboard and am half asleep, sorry about the typos if any, and the boringness. Like I said, half asleep.}
