A Zach Mitchell Fanfiction

The repaired Jeep was running problem-free, and didn't even stutter when Zach crashed through an old electric fence that was rusted and not working.
"That's it! We're safe now." Zach stated, finally out of the old park. He was driving down a dirt road, heading back to Jurassic World where he, Alison, and Gray would be safe from any dinosaurs.
However, dozens of Pterodactyls were flying overhead, squaking loudly as they flapped their wide, tan coloured wings.
"Step in it, Zach!" Alison exclaimed, noticing the dinosaurs. Gray saw them too and rapidly hit the side of his older brother's seat.
"Go, go, go!" He said in a frantic tone, as Zach looked out the rearview mirror of the Jeep to see the flock of bird-like dinosaurs.
"Shit." He mumbled, pressing his foot harder on the gas. The tires skidded on the dirt before zooming forwards, the speed of the car climbing higher and higher.
A large building was up ahead, with a large blue gate and two men with guns standing on a balcony above it.
Alison, Gray, and Zach all began yelling at the top of their lungs, needing one of the men to open the gate for them. Finally, as they got closer, the gate slid open and let them in. The Pterodactyls continued on their flight, heading straight for the park.
"Stop the car! We'll have to walk, there's too many tourists to drive around." Alison pointed out, and Zach slammed on the brakes. He cut the engine and all three of the kids got out of the Jeep. They ran into the park, and noticed Zara, the boys' babysitter.
"Stop running! Wait!" The woman yelled. Zach put his arms up to protect Alison and Gray as he tried to keep up with how fast the Pterodactyls were moving. They were causing chaos in the park, picking people up and snapping at them with their abnormally long beaks.
All of a sudden, Zara fell victim to the dinosaurs as she was lifted into the air by a Pterodactyl. Alison, Zach, and Gray watched with expressions of horror as the air filled with Zara's screams, while the woman was played with by a few Pterodactyls. One ended up dropping her in the large body of water that housed the Mosasaurus, and Alison knew exactly what was to come next.
A Pterodactyl dove underwater to retrieve Zara, oblivious to the large dinosaur that lived in the water. The Pterodactyl resurfaced with Zara in it's beak, and Alison gasped as the Mosasaurus jumped out of the water. The dinosaur clamped her large mouth around both Zara and the Pterodactyl, before letting out a loud groan as she flopped back into the water.
"No, Mosy! Bad girl! God, how many times do I have to tell these people she needs a big lunch?" Alison exclaimed, taking off her Jurassic World baseball cap as she shook her head. "Here, eat this too!" The girl was frustrated for a few different reasons, and tossed her work hat into the water. The Mosasaurus whined underwater, but didn't seem too interested in the piece of head wear.
"Your dinosaur just ate our babysitter." Zach pointed out in disbelief, his face slightly paler than what it was ten minutes ago.
"Oh Come on, Zach. She wasn't even that good of a babysitter." Alison snapped. She didn't even know why she was so upset. Maybe because her best friend created a dinosaur that was a killing machine, or because she was the only Mosasaurus trainer that seemed to care if the dinosaur got enough of food. Or, it was because she was in the biggest mess ever, on an island with rogue dinosaurs.
"Ali! Zach! Gray!" The three kids whipped around when they heard the sound of the boys' names. It was Claire, looking disheveled yet relieved to see her best friend and nephews.
"Aunt Claire!" Gray yelled back, running towards the woman with Zach and Alison behind him.
"No! Hold your-." A man with dark brown hair who was wearing a tanned vest with a light blue shirt yelled. Alison recognized him as Owen Grady, the Raptor trainer. Owen wasn't able to finish his sentence as he was taken down by a dinosaur, that pinned him to the ground and snapped it's beak in his face. Alison realized why he was yelling as a Pterodactyl crashed down behind them, knocking the three kids over. Alison, Gray, and Zach all quickly moved away from the dinosaur, not having anywhere else to go as their backs collided with a wall. Te Pterodactyl skidded across the pavement, stopping just before it's beak had the chance to come in contact with a heavily breathing Gray.
"I need a new job." Alison mumbled as she looked down at her scraped up hands, gently brushing the dirt and gravel off of them. The girl jumped to her feet, before helping Zach and Gray stand up.
Owen was still fighting with his Pterodactyl, but the trio watched as Claire hit the dinosaur in the head with the base of a large gun. It yelped out in pain and Claire shot it a couple times to stop it from killing Owen. Claire then helped the man to his feet and handed his gun back to him.
Owen, however, had other plans. Alison, Gray, and Zach all watched as he pulled Claire in for an unexpected kiss. An idea flashed across Alison's mind and she couldn't seem to stop herself as she grabbed Zach's chin and turned his head in her direction. The girl leaned up to place a soft kiss on his plump, slightly dry lips. Zach didn't know what was happening any more than Alison did, but kissed her back with a small smile etched on his face. Alison felt content, and safe, in the short moment. Zach had an affect on her that made her forget all her worries. All she was focused on now was how he smelled of nature, and tasted of the lingering mint chapstick that was nearly gone from his lips.
"Sorry for snapping at you." Alison mumbled, barely inaudibly, as her lips lingered on Zach's.
"S'okay." He replied before reconnecting their lips, his hand finding it's way to Alison's waist.
"Is that Aunt Claire? Oh." Gray said beside the two teenagers, only now just noticing what was going on around him.
"Gray! Zach? And Alison?" Claire called out, running over. The two teenagers pulled away, both with dopey smiles and their cheeks slightly flushed red as Claire approached them, pulling each one in for a hug. "Thank God you're all okay. What happened? Are you okay? Where did you go? Why didn't you come back? I was so worried about you. And you two, what was that?" Claire bombarded them with questions of concern, before turning to her nephew and best friend.
"It was the same thing you just did with Owen Grady." Alison replied, her eyes flickering over to the man that stood a few feet behind Claire.
"Who's that?" Zach asked, his gaze also focused on the man known as Owen.
"We, uh," Claire cleared her throat. "We work together."
