Of course that’s why they’re sending me to a different academy, to become someone else’s problem. Perhaps they can figure it out if I don’t tell them. However I refused to change my source of strength. It’s in my family and my sister, from the emotion of pain, and I will stick by it because that’s the only source of strength I have. I will know nobody, trust nobody, only the ones I no longer have. I can’t afford to start back up again…I just can’t.
Northern Academy
Breeze:
It’s quite a walk from where I usually spend my days and to the Super-Senior’s office. That’s how it is for most of the Junior Elementals in this place. We rarely have any business with him after arriving at the academy. He’s got quite a huge job keeping track of every single Junior Elemental in this place and that’s a handful considering he’s got over hundreds of Junior Elementals to keep track of. The academy is divided into several divisions so that he can easier keep track of those with the potential of graduating soon and be sent off to the field. I’ve heard there’s quite a ‘hankering’ for it these days.I don’t know what I should expect when I arrive at the big Super-Senior’s building at the very center of the academy. I’ve heard that there aren’t that many people walking in here that come back out. It makes me slightly nervous as I open the door and close it. Right in front of me is a desk and a woman sitting behind it. Taking a few steps inside, I look to my right where I see a big steel-door. I keep my eyes on it a I’ve never really seen anything like it before. “Can I help you, J.E.?” The woman behind the desk suddenly asks and I turn my head towards her. “Uhm…I’m J.E. Breeze?” I let out as she checks her papers.
“Of course, Super-Senior is waiting for you. Just walk through the door.” She gestures as I nod weakly and walk over to the door. I notice I’m rather hesitant as I walk towards the door. I’m not sure if I should knock or just walk through. I sense someone is watching me as I stand there. “You can just walk through…” I then hear the woman from the desk say. I turn slightly towards her before I put my hand on the door and push it open. Stepping inside, I immediately feel like I’ve walked through something…or into something. Something is sort of subduing me I sense. I’m really bad at hiding my surprise.
“You’ve just entered an elemental-subdued area, J.E. Breeze. Having so many different personalities in here it’s good that people can’t access their elements. That’s why you might feel…empty if you will.” He says as he finally looks up at faces me. There’s still something keeping me at unease. “That does explain it…you called for me, Super-Senior?” I then let out as he nods and gestures to one of the seats right in front of me. “Yes, I did, please have a seat.” In reality I would like to stand in case I should ever need to run off, but I’m a little too nervous to insist on standing so I sit down.
“I know you’re very curious as to you why you’re here. I’ve been very anxious to talk to you for quite a while. You have an element with quite a magnificent force, especially when out of control. When the Senior suggested meditation for you to get control of it, I didn’t hesitate in approving it.” He says first. Of course I know he approved, he’d have to for me to go out of normal rotation. He’s the one pulling the strings around here and I’ve heard that he does that really well. He always seems to know what a specific J.E. might need regarding training.
“How do you feel regarding that training? Has it helped you?” He then asks me. “I felt degraded at first, but I’ve had some steps forward since then. I was able to focus on my own thoughts and feelings instead of the people around me. I guess that’s where I’ve been going wrong all these years…not listening to my own voice…” I let out as I see him nodding. “Just the same thing that your Senior told me. It’s quite impressive that only after two days, have you managed to grasp a way to control your element. To find an emotion that positively connects with air. Most people would take days or weeks, but you’ve been exceptionally fast at grasping the concept.” He says.
