Adventist Hymns with Lessons

Let our hearts be always cheerful;
Why should murmuring enter there,
When our kind and loving Father,
Makes us children of His care.

Sunshine all around we see;
Full of beauty is the path of duty,
Cheerful we may always be.

With His gentle hand to lead us,
Should the pow’rs of sin assail,
He has promised grace to help us;
Never can His promise fail.

When we turn aside from duty,
Comes the pain of doing wrong;
And a shadow, creeping o’er us,
Checks the rapture of our song.

Oh! The good are always happy,
And their path is ever bright;
Let us heed the blessed counsel,
Shun the wrong and love the right.

Lesson:
Have you ever felt heart-broken ?
Christ said that we should always be cheerful . We should not worry about what we will eat , drink and wear
We should be anxious about our salvation and our relationship with God. We should 'seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness' as said in Matthew 6:33 . God is able to deliver us through trials and temptations. The Bible says ,"A joyful heart works like medicine" and in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice Always"
Being anxious does not solve the problem. Look ever to Jesus and he will carry you through.
