And love can make people do, almost anything.

Mr jewel's face instantly brightened at my answer, she squealed happily like a little girl,"Thanks a lot, dear, it means a lot!"
I grinned,
"No worries. Anything for my best friend."
I smiled as I pulled out a pink notepad I had stored in my back pocket.
"Okay. So we have to catch the killer. Any suspects in mind?"
There I sounded just like a professional detective!! *blushes* I know I am not even experienced!!
Mr jewel anchored thoughtfully, pursing her lips as she said,
"I don't think so we have anyone who hates Jessie that much that the person will try to kill."
That reply was obvious. Jessie is liked by everyone.
After a few minutes of anticipated silence, I spoke up.
"Did anyone of you spot someone around the premises today?"
I saw Mr jewel trying hard to remember, his eyes visibly tightening in compliance with his lips.
He finally remarked, "Yes, I saw someone....."
"Whom did you see?" I questioned immediately.
At first, he hung back to answer, but afterward, he opened up.
"I saw this guy Leon outside the house today."
That lover boy!!? Did he just say, Leon?
"Leon??"
"Yes, I am sure," Dan answered assuringly with a quick nod.
Mrs jewel interrupted our conversation,
"Oh...that guy from your school right?"
I nodded.
"Yes, Mrs jewel. That guy is in my school and my class as well."
I knew Leon. He is one of the quietest boys in our class. Rather way too quiet to be true.
He has no friends, but he sort of knows Jessie. At least he knows where Jessie lives for a starter. Jessie had told me several times that she feels that Leon likes her a lot. Well just because she has seen Leon staring at her. I and Jessie haven't told anything about it to our parents, because.....we both never concerned it that big of a concern, which it truly isn't.
"Ah Mr and Mrs jewel, I have something to tell."
I stammered, mulling over my decision then and there. Should I tell them? Should I not?
Mr and Mrs jewel exchanged perplexed glances.
Mr jewel bobbed lovingly, trying to make me feel comfortable.
"Yes dear, what is it?"
Should I tell them?
I don't know. I hesitated, toiling my fingers around my pink notepad in apprehension. I uttered, my voice barely whistling out.
"Laura and Dan, I wanted to-
But we were interrupted by a harshly loud.
"What was that?" I shivered, flinching in horror.
"Oh don't worry. It was a thunderstorm."
Laura assured me, giggling sweetly.
Yeah. Now the only thing I needed was a thunderstorm. Deadly night, bruh.
