The only thing you heard was your heavy breath as you ran down the street straight to the he'll called school. I'm late! You mentally yelled as you ran through the school's entrance.

You took a quick stop by the water fountain, taking large sips of water because of all the running you did. After taking a few sips, you proceeded to class, this time walking.

After a short minute, you reach your first period, English. You gently open the door, peering inside. Everyone was there, as usual. Except Asriel, the goat you had attempted saved yesterday. In his place was the girl who glared daggers at you, Ms. Red Eyes.

What was more ironic is that your seat is next to her's. Hesitantly, you walk inside the classroom, putting your backpack down in your chair, gulping.

Suddenly, as you sit down, the teacher claims her hands loudly. "Excuse me, class! Today we have an announcement. We have a new student, her name is Chara Dreemurr! She's Asriel Dreemurr's little sister!"

The female next to you sunk in her seat, hiding in her line green and yellow sweater. "Ugh." She silently groaned. So her name is Chara, huh? And she's Asriel's sister... Your eyes widened slightly. That's why she was so pissed off yesterday. He's her older brother. Oh god.

"Why don't you introduce yourself Chara?" The teacher cheerfully asked, a smile on her face. Chara shrugged. "Sure, alright." She stood up from her seat, cracking her knuckles, as if she was ready to fight the teacher.

"Um, hey, I'm Chara. Chara Dreemurr. As you may know, I'm Azzy's little sister. And well, just don't mess with anyone I care about." With that, she sat back down at her chair, not making eye contact with anybody.

Class went on normally after that. The teacher started lecturing everyone about the difference between nouns and verbs. You, not too interested in this stuff, let loose a small yawn, bored. To your right, Temmie was drawing cute little hearts with faces instead of writing notes.

To your left, Chara wasn't doing anything. She was messing around with the sleeve of her sweater, pulling on a loose thread.  "Hey." You leaned over and tapped her shoulder. "How's your brother doing?"

Chara looked over at you for a few seconds, then looked away. "He's fine. In the hospital."

"I'm so sorry. Is there anyway I could maybe visit him?" You asked. Even though you didn't know Asriel that well, you were worried about him. Plus, the teacher had already asked you to give him issues homework, since you're the only one who would actually give it to him. The other's are too lazy to go looking for some random kids just to give him some homework.

"Why?" Chara asked, no emotion in her voice. "Well, the teacher told me to give Asriel his work while he's away... And I just thought.... Um..." You gulped, Chara's gaze at you making you feel slightly uncomfortable. "Fine. He's in the Sacred Heart Hospital. Room 05." Her voice was quiet this time.

You nodded, writing the room number on your wrist with a black marker. "Got it, okay. I'll be there after school." With that, you continued on to your work.

A few hours had passed by and it was already lunch. You had gotten (favorite food) and were sitting with your (best friend) as you chatted about random things going on in class.

"So then, Frisk stood up from their seat in art class and flicked paint in the teacher's eye because she insulted monsters. The teacher went blind for the rest of the class!" (B.F) laughed, taking a bite from their fry. You looked down at your food, then back up. In the corner of your eye you saw Chara sitting alone, eating a chocolate bar with strawberry milk. You sighed.

"Hey, (Y/N), what's wrong?" Your friend asked, putting down their fry to get a good look at you. "You seem worried about something..."

"Well, I..." You looked away, taking a deep breath. "So, there's this girl and..."
(B.F)'s eyes lit up. "Oh my god! You like a girl?"

"N-no!" Your face grew hot as you looked over at Chara, worried that she heard. When you noticed she didn't, you mentally sighed in relief. "It's not like that.. She's a little strange, is all. She glares weirdly at me, making me feel a little uncomfortable. But she seems sweet at heart... Yesterday, she held her brother close, and she was crying. Maybe she's just shocked." You explained, picking at your food with a fork. You looked over at Chara again.

Her eyes met yours, making your heart beat slightly faster. You then quickly looked away, pretending to mind your own business. Suddenly, a loud bell rang throughout the cafeteria, signaling that lunch time was over. Slowly, you stood up and discarded your uneaten food, waving a goodbye to (B.F), and headed on to finish the rest of your classes.

~

Ironically, you had the rest of your classes with Chara. And at every single one, you sat next to her. It almost feels like it was fate, or something. Like you two were destined to meet each other, or maybe it's just a coincidence.

Anyhow, you were able to get through all your classes without activating GlareMaster Chara once. It was finally after school, and time to head towards the Sacred Heart Hospital. At least, that was your original plan until you heard a fearful scream.

Instinctively, you dropped everything in your hands and ran towards it. This time, it was right at the school entrance. Once you made it there, a tall girl with bloody fists and a horrid scowl was towering over a small monster, Temmie.

"Hey!" You called out. "Leave her alone!" The girl turned around slowly, dirty blonde hair falling over her green eyes. "Or what? She's just a stupid monster. None of them are supposed to be here in the first place. It's all thanks to that stupid Frisk they're here." She spat bitterly. "I hate them. I have a bone to pick with one of them."

"Just because one monster was bad to you doesn't mean they all are horrible!" You shouted, walking closer to the taller female. She rolled her eyes, sizing you up, then chuckled. "I know you. You're that girl who attempted to save one of them yesterday. But you lost. Pathetic."

"I..." You started, then slowly started backing up. Her gaze was very unsettling, even more unsettling than Chara's. You once again wanted to run, but you were now paralyzed with fear.

She chuckled again, then cracked her knuckles. "Weakling." She punched you right in the gut. "Pathetic." A punch to the face. "You're no hero." And a knee to your leg. With a loud groan, you fell to the ground, blood dripping from your mouth onto concrete ground.

"I know your kind. You're not tough at all. It's just an act. You're really weak deep down inside. You just have this big act so you don't seem as worthless as you really are. Well, I'm one of the very few people in this world that can see through that act." She raised a foot to your face, then started slowly pressing it to your skull.

  "Goodbye."

But before she could crack your skull, something resonated within you.

Suddenly, you were filled with strength, and power. With a swift kick, you knocked the girl off her feet while you were on the ground, and stood up. You called out help, and this time somebody did come. A few teachers took notice of Temmie, and started instantly dialing the police. You, however, were being chased by the bully.

Your leg stung like hell, and blood filled your mouth but you didn't care. As long as you gave the others enough time to take Temmie to the hospital, you were contempt. With a skip, you hopped off from the sidewalk and started running across the street. The blonde bully stopped behind you, but you kept running.
