Sniggers and waves of laughter resounded from behind you, Chanyeol and Jongdae were for some reason teasing Baekhyun for the hundredth time in the span of five minutes. Since they on the desks behind yours, you couldn't see the red and embarrassed face Baekhyun wore on his face, frustratedly pushing his friends away, but they were like bees to honey as they returned to poke him again, buzzing your name mockingly in his ears, he could only wish for himself that you couldn't hear them.

"Come on go say it! I heard Sehun confessed to her already, what if she says yes?" Jongdae urged in his ear, yeah, he had heard that one too, and in all honesty, he would have done something if he had actually had a chance against Sehun. But he probably couldn't even stand in the same line as him.

"Baek come on! Are you just going to continue watching her like an idiot?" Chanyeol shook his shoulders, Baekhyun had no idea how he was keeping up with these two, he had spoken to you only a few times before. He wanted to know you more, but whenever you would just look in his direction he felt self-conscious, his heart on the verge of jumping out of his chest. Simple, he wasn't confident enough, he felt shy under your gaze and most time couldn't even bear to look at you.

Chanyeol and Jongdae growled loudly in protest when Baekhyun didn't react to their words, but that didn't mean that he wasn't thinking about it. As he watched your beautiful frame with a cheek leaning on his palm he thought, the worst thing that can happen is that you would say no.

"Could you guys please lower your voices a bit?" Both Jongade and Chanyeol froze in their spots when your voice was pointed at them, their eyes adverted to Baekhyun as if he was the one in charge of apologizing and he scowled inwardly at his friends that were more like traitors than anything else.

"Sorry-" You hadn't expected him to be the one to apologize, and the sudden blush on his cheeks made you want to keep looking at him, it seemed like he had more to say.

"It's just that...I really like you, but I didn't know how to tell you that," Jongdae and Chanyeol gasped as if they had seen a ghost and Baekhyun couldn't even believe that he had said those words.

"Wanna eat lunch together then?" You asked him casually, giving him a kind smile.

The blush on his cheeks darkened, but the smile that grew on his cheeks enlightened the whole classroom.
