You let out a frustrated hiss as the mouse you had been tracking scurried away quickly.
Grumbling you listened and scented the air for more prey. There seemed to be hardly anything where you were so you decided to move on.
You walked along the Riverclan boarder, a sense of frustration washed over you again as you remembered Graystripe's words to you, although it had been a few sunrises sense then, nothing had happened.
"Just who does he think he is! I should be careful, he seemed desperate and desperate cats will stop at nothing to-"
"Y/n."
Your mind broke from your thoughts at the call of your name. You looked to the side to see a familiar silver she-cat. You took a step away from her direction.
"What are you doing here?" You asked without kindness.
"Just to warn you is all."
"Warn me?" You asked cautiously.
"Yes, you see, Graystripe was to afraid to confront you about what you saw so I decided that I would do it instead."
"Excuse me?"
"It upsets me, my Graystripe seems awefully fond of you and refuses to take action, in my opinion a bit to fond, so you best keep your distance and keep that little mouth of yours shut." She said darkly.
"What are you gonna do, you can't even cross the boarder or my clan will drive you away." You huffed, although more so to reassure yourself.
"I think I can manage, besides, I'm sure they would hate to loose one of their clanmates to the river." She said ominously as she turned and started to leave.
Your fur prickled at her words and you defensively shouted after her, "Mousebrain! The only way to the river is through your territory, I'm not stupid enough to cross a boarder!"
You got no reply as the bushes went still, signaling that you were alone.
"She can't do anything, it was a bluff... Right?"
