They arrived at the dorm at around 10 pm. Too tired from training, they could barely move to take a shower and clean up before going to bed.
Their room is small, just enough to fit the a single bed, small closet, and study table, 1 for each of them, and the bathroom. Ly took the bed closer to the door, while Den chose the one closer to the bathroom as she has a tendency to wake up in the middle of the night to pee.
Both of them were immediately asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillow. A few minutes later, however, Ly was startled upon hearing a loud crashing sound and Den screaming. This was soon followed by what sounded like Den whimping.
Ly fumbled to turn on her lamp. "Den, Den! Are you ok?" She got out of bed and rushed to Den who was still on the floor, face down.
Ly picked-up Den and turned her around, panic written all over her face. "Den!" Den was shaking; Ly was on the verge of her tears, she didn't know what to do.
Until slowly, Den's whimper became full on giggles. Ly realized she wasn't shaking but was actually laughing. Ly hit Den's shoulder and was irritated as she thought Den was playing a prank on her.
"Ouch, what's your problem?"
"You, obviously!? Do you get a kick out of waking people up in the dead of the night? You think it's funny?"
"I wasn't joking!"
"You had me worried! I thought something was wrong with you, and I didn't know what to do..." Ly couldn't finish what she was saying. She couldn't understand but she was suddenly crying. She thought, maybe it's just all the stress of first day of school. But for whatever reason, the tears just kept coming.
"Shush, don't cry, I'm sorry. I swear it wasn't a prank. I'm just not used to having such a small bed. Since we transferred homes, I share a huge bed with my sister. I'm used to rolling around in my sleep." Den hugged Ly, willing her to stop crying.
While still in that position, Ly lifted her head and looked at Den. Their eyes met.
Den realized how beautiful Ly was up close. She had these dimples on the side of her eyes, as well as beside her lips. She has this tendency to squint when smiling, with one eye closed. Her eyes are a deep brown color, and her skin, perfectly brown, is so smooth.
Den gasped, "I fell."
"You, what?"
Den shook her head as she returned to her senses, and removed herself from the hug, suddenly embarassed. "I fell.. from the bed." They giggled.
"You want us to put the beds together so that you won't fall off next time?"
"Are you sure? As you've seen, I am a very crazy sleeper, I toss and turn around, and even fall hahaha. Oh, and I am a hugger. My sister is really annoyed with it coz sometimes she wakes up and I'm clutching her like a pillow, she couldn't breath."
"Then, let me be your pillow. I guess that's much better than having your sleep disturbed because I need to pick you up from the floor every night, right? And any way, if it get's too much, I still have the option of pushing you off the bed myself."
"Don't say I didn't warn you." They then proceeded to push their beds close together.
"Night." They said at the same time, and fell asleep soon after.

Saturday, for the first time since they started school, they have free time for themselves. No classes, no training.
They were finally able to unpack their stuff and fix their closet. Aside from some small talk, they were relatively quiet, both busy in their own tasks.
