Hesitate

Killian POV-

I knew that my father was hiding something about the deal Everytime I talked with him about that topic he seemed ...uneasy. I have always known that my mother cheated on my father. When I was fourteen I walk in to her room and saw something I want to erase from my memory. She was never at home when I was a kid which it make me sad at one point but when I grew older I realized something. She only wanted my dad for his money and for his title in the gang. I still respect her anytime I saw her because  she still my mother, birth mother. Ivan's mother was the one who taught me everything that a mother need to teach to their son, she was the closer I had to a mother. When she passed away I had to be strong not only for me but for Ivan as well, even when her death was a hard situation for me. (If you don't remember who is Ivan, he appeared in chapter 6, he is Killian's best friend but also he work in the gang)

"Killian it's time, I'm ready " zero said as he walked done stairs. He look beautiful, not that he doesn't every day. Today I decided to have a date with him, so he can relax even if it is only for today. He's been pretty worried for what's happening, he never talk with me about the issue but I can see in his actions or whenever he spaces out. I don't want to pressure him to talk to me but if he doesn't I would have to ask him about it.

I offered him my hand when he was at the last step. He smile shyly and blush at little when I hold his hand.

"Okay then let's go " I said as we began to make our way towards my car.

"Where at we going? " Zero ask soundly excited and happy. I smile at him, I want to keep seen him happy.

"How many times do I have to tell you, sweetie? It's a secret." I said as I started heading towards our destination.

There were two black cars, one in front of us and the other behind and they are my bodyguards. Now that I stepped up to the tittle of boss of Blackwood, my enemies increase before I would have fight my dad to tell him that I don't need bodyguards and that I can take care of myself but now I have Zero in my care and like I promise to him and my dad, I won't let anybody touch him in any way.

Finally, tons of shinny carnaval rides appeared on our sight.

"Are we going to the carnival ?" He ask excitedly as soon as he saw the rides in front of us. I park my car near the entrance.

"Yep, I wanted for us to have fun and the amsument park was the best option" I said as I smiled at him.

"Omg let's go Killian hurry up " he said as he went to my side dragging me to the entrance.

"Okay baby calm down, I have to get our passes." I said and chuckle at the small boy who was pouting at me.

As soon as we enter I ordered my bodyguards to stay outside. I want to have privacy if I see something wrong then I will just text them.

"Killian, let's go there " Zero ask me pointing at one of the rides near us. I just nod wanting him to enjoy this date.

We stay there for about 3 hours and every thing was worth it. Hearing him smile and laugh made me happy as well. Everything was pointing out to get better or so I thought....

We were about to go to the car when someone I know well started making our way to us.

"Killian, who do you have here ? It is another one of your night stand? " Lucas said as he walked towards Zero eyeing him like he was his prey. Before he can touch Zero, I moved in front of him making sure that Zero was out of his sight.
