All Grown Up

I sat in the studio with Demario as he stood in the booth recording the songs for his new album as I updated my clothing line website. Even though we were both in our own zones, we were both completely content being in each other's presence.

We've been up here since 10 something this morning. I checked the time on my phone to see that it was now 4:30 in the evening. Our whole day was practically spent in here, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

"How was that baby?" He asked. I looked up from my laptop, smiling at him. I had to pretend that I wasn't staring at him a moment ago. He looks so sexy when he's focused and perfecting his craft.

"Better than the last one." I smirked. To me, he was one of the best rappers in the game. Sometimes it takes a few runs before you can get the exact sound that you're looking for, but for him, he made it look so easy and effortless.

"You sure?" Easy and effortless didn't mean that he didn't appreciate feedback. And I loved that he asked for my opinion, even though I feel like he doesn't need it.

"Yes baby. That was perfect." I said as I stood up. He stepped out of the booth and walked over to me. I instantly wrapped my arms around his neck as he smiled at me.

"That's what's up. You ready to go?"

"I'm ready when you are. I'm getting hungry now."

The bad thing about us, we're workaholics and sometimes we forget to feed ourselves. Damn near six hours has gone past and we haven't eaten anything since this morning.

"Alright, lemme do one more and then we can go." I nodded my head as he pecked my lips and went back into the booth. I sat back on the couch and finished up with adding my new pieces from my new collection to my website. I looked a hot mess and I really didn't care. My hair was all over the place and I had on some simple sweats and some slides. None of my clothes matched and I didn't have on a wig.
