The Revival

"Devas and Asuras were a single community but were divided due to different ideologies." Said Mr. Vyas in a low hush voice.

Mr. Prakash Vyas, a historian by profession, slept near his 10 year old boy-Arjun in the dark room reciting the tale he believes was once the reality!

Patting slowly on Arjun's blanket clad chest he continued with his tale -

Devas and Asuras created this world and humans who look just like them.
Devas wished to let humans run the world as they desire, but Asuras wished to rule the world. That's where the difference in the ideology aroused.

Devas and Asuras parted their ways and lead different path. But Asuras sneak into the world 'meant only for humans' and created a chaos.

Devas in order to protect the world and the humans send a group of warriors who killed almost all Asuras.

Seeing the defeat and downfall of the Asuras, a group of them disguised as humans to save themselves from the wrath of the warriors.

It is believed that the Asuras remained as humans for centuries fearing the warriors, that they gradually lost all their inhuman capabilities (divine power). And these Asuras in human form still resides among us, unknown of their real potential.

But there's a belief that there's a procedure which can help them restore their divine powers.

Arjun rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand and asked his father in a sleepy voice "what about the warriors?"

"No one has ever heard about them." And then there was pause and after thinking a while he said "Maybe they went back to the Heaven to Devas."

Arjun was snoring and dreaming the tale. Prakash kisses his forehead and left to his study room.
