Cyrus' POV
TJ and I walked to his house, our shoulders constantly brushing together. The conversation we had just had confused me a lot. Was he talking about me? He had to be, there was no one else it could be, right? I mean he isn't close to anyone else. It couldn't be Andi or Amber because he's gay and Amber happens to be his sister. Marty is his brother and he doesn't really have anything with anyone but me. Thoughts of TJ as my boyfriend flooded through my head causing a small smile to creep up onto my face. I was so tempted to hold his hand, he wouldn't mind, right? I mean we've held hands before so what's different now? I decided to take the risk and laced our fingers together as we walked. He squeezed my hand and my face heated up. I had no idea where this confidence was coming from but I'm glad I had it.
"What time have you got to be home by?" TJ said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh um it's Friday so 9 as usual as long as my Mom knows where I am." I replied.
"Do you wanna sleepover?" He asked and I finally turned to look at him.
"Sure, if that's okay with your parents." I agreed.
"They'll be fine with it plus Amber is having Andi over for the night so I don't see why I can't have someone over." He told me.
"Oh yeah, Andi was talking about that earlier. Her, Amber and Iris are having a sleepover so hopefully there will be no funny business like last time." I said wriggling my eyebrows and he chuckled.
"Won't Iris feel like a third wheel?" He frowned.
"No, she'd probably just join in if they did anything." I replied causing him to laugh.
"I don't even want to think about that." He let out a little giggle while half grimacing. He was so cute no wonder I fell for him. His little freckles on his nose, his green eyes and his amazing hair. His long eyelashes that batted against his cheeks whenever he laughed and his smile could brighten anyone's day.
I didn't even realise that I was staring at him until he said something.
"Sorry, what was that?" I asked snapping out of my trance.
"I said, 'do you want to order pizza?' " He repeated.
"Yeah sure as long as you don't have pineapple." I told him.
"What's wrong with pineapple on pizza?" He smiled knowing that he was winding me up.
"It's just not right." I said.
"How so?" He questioned jokingly.
"It's a fruit, fruit doesn't belong on pizza." I replied.
"Tomatoes are a fruit and they are always on pizza." He outsmarted me.
"Smartass." I hissed sarcastically.
"You'll be up my smartass soon enough." He muttered.
"What?" I said like I didn't hear him.
"What?" He replied innocently.
"Don't act like you didn't say anything." I laughed.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He smirked as we walked across his front yard.
"Of course you don't." I rolled my eyes jokingly.
"I don't." He replied.
"Just so you know, I heard what you said and you're not wrong." I flirted shamelessly.
"What?" He blushed deeply.
"What?" I asked innocently and he groaned. We let go of each others hands and walked through his front door. I could not believe I just said that.
