Izzy's POV:
"Has anyone of you seen Alex?" I asked the lads, who were all gathered up drinking from their beers.
"Uhh... I don't think so, Iz" Nick answered, looking around the party.
"Alright, I'm going out to check he's not doing anything stupid, yeah?" I screamed over the noise. "I'm worried he might have got himself into some trouble" The boys nodded at me and I immediately headed out of the mansion, trying to see if I could spot any signs of Alex nearby.
To be honest, I had nothing better to do at the moment, and I desperately needed to have a serious conversation with him. He'd managed to talk to Logan about us, and even though I'd tried convincing him to stay, Logan preferred to go home and talk to me about this in another moment. Besides, Stephanie's glare had also become unbearable, and ditching the party seemed every time more and more tempting.
I must have spent around an hour walking everywhere and I still had no clues as regards where Alex might have gone off to. I hadn't seen him with Stephanie for a while, so I supposed he had left the party as well. After all, he was still the same resented teenager who just wouldn't fit in a big ass mansion party. Even though I was about to abandon my attempts to find him, I spotted a strange looking figure lying on the pavement. I was scared to get near it at first, but then I realized the person was carrying the same clothes Alex had been wearing in the party. I heaved in a sigh and stepped towards him, wondering what the fuck he had been up to in order to end up lying down in the middle of the street. This boy never fucking learned.
"If your Mum saw you like this, she would give you up for adoption" I commented, folding my arms over my chest and throwing Alex a reproachful look. He slowly turned his head and glanced at me, trying to stand up but failing miserably. He grunted in complaint and crashed his head against the ground, cursing under his breath. "Either that or she would lock you up at your old place and keep you in there until you start getting your life together. Are you planning on staying like that all night? Is it comfy, at least?"
"I'm not in the mood, Iz" Alex grumbled. I crouched down and drew his hair back, grimacing when his stinky breath reached my nostrils.
"What are you doing to yourself, Alex?" I muttered as I stroked his cheek.
"I wish I knew"
"You scared my date away, you know"
"Whoopsy" Alex slurred.
"Come, let's get you home, you stupid dick" I ordered, getting hold of one of his arms. "I'll get you back for fucking up my date night some other day, you're way too drunk now" I somehow managed to pick up Alex from the ground, throwing one of his arms over my shoulders. The man was heavier than I thought, no matter he could look skinny as fuck sometimes.
"Izzy, what would I do without you?" Alex smiled at me.
"Oh, man, your breath stinks" I complained, pushing his face further away from mine.
"I'm a fuck up, aren't I?"
"Yeah, probably" I chirped. "But you'll feel worse tomorrow when you realize this one will probably be one of your worst hangovers"
"Yay, can't wait" Alex mumbled. "You know, the moment your high heels appeared in my vision range and I looked up and saw your face, it was like I was in fucking heaven, Izzy. It was like... salvation, you know. My fucking angel"
"Seriously, how much did you drink?"
"Probably even the water from the sewers"
"You're such a charming man, Alex" I joked.
