The next day
Waking up again, America noticed that Canada was still sitting next to him.
"D-Did you sleep at all?" he asked weakly. Canada turned his head to look at him. He had dark circles under under his eyes, which were bloodshot. America had basically fallen apart the night before. He cried so much that he threw up multiple times, and couldn't control how loud his voice was. So he was just sobbing and screaming for at least an hour. Canada helped him the best America could before he unintentionally fell asleep. To make sure he would be okay, Canada stayed up all night, not sleeping for a second.
"N-No... but it's fine. Anyway, you need to drink something." Canada said while handing America a glass of water that was on the table next to them. Rubbing his throat in pain, America drank pretty much the entire glass.
"Ugh... I feel horrible..."
"I check your temperature before you completely fell asleep. Good thing is you don't have a fever. Though along with drinking, you also need to eat, okay?" Canada rubbed America's back as he coughed a few times.
"Y-Yeah... okay."
Later
As China walked through the filthy streets, he couldn't stop thinking about the night before. He now felt guilty for what he said to America. Looking back, he thought it was rather childish to bring up something that happened years ago. Besides, Japan forgave him. So why couldn't he?
"This pollution is getting worse lately..." China thought as he covered his mouth. His eyes burned but he still had to get home. He missed the days when the air in his country was actually clean, and people didn't have to walk around with risk of lung diseases or death. Sadly, it was too late to fix it. Once arriving back home, China noticed that he had two missed calls.
He click one and listened to it."Hello China. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday. I shouldn't have hit you... I was just so mad about how everyone treated America that I didn't know how else to react. I hope you can forgive me."
"Japan..." China muttered to himself. He felt bad that he even put Japan into that situation in the first place. After all, him and America both shared that part of history. Sighing sadly, China clicked that next one, he didn't even noticed that he didn't recognize the number.
"Hey China. Just wanna say that I hope you and the other countries know what you have coming."
He didn't know the voice either.... He thought it sounded like America, but it was way to soft to be his. Confused, he just delated it.
