Transformed

A laptop sat on the table displaying the face of a middle aged white man.

"Sweetie I know you're struggling right now since your mother died unexpectedly but I assure you the military said I can retire after this deployment. I'll see you soon.  It's almost over but while I'm still gone I need you to continue to behave and help Ms. Lennox with Baby Annabelle" the girl in front of the laptop is told by the man who's her father on the other end of the Skype call as the computer started to glitch out.

"Dad" Carly the 16 year old sophomore, on the other end of the call yelled as she began to cry as his face was frozen on the screen.

"Honey it's been like that for over an hour. I think it's time to put it away. We'll try again tomorrow ok kiddo" Ms. Lennox says as Carly gets up and walks up the stairs to the guest room.

Sam's POV

I was driving near the beach when Bumblebee and I hear the noise of a horrified screaming person.

"Sam we need to do something it's one of the decepticons" Bumblebee says.

"Can't we get a break" I mumble as he transformed holding me as he jumps off the side of the cliff onto the beach.

"What the hell is that" the girl yells. She looks familiar.

"Aren't you Carly Brown we have Algebra together 2nd hour" I state.

"Is now really the time" she yells.

She has a point.

"Come on" I say grabbing her wrist pulling her behind a rock. When I let go she is still freaking out.

"Are you friends with the yellow one" she asks.

"Long story" I say.

"Do you trust me" I ask Carly.

"Ye..ah" She replies clearly hesitant.

"Get in the car" I state as we both do so bumblebee speeds away.

We arrive at the hanger on the base, Carly had long since fallen asleep.

"Hey we're here" I say shaking her small figure awake.

"Where are we" She asks sitting up in her seat and stretching.

"Stay here I'll be right back" I say.

I get out of Bee and walk over to the main.

"Is Lennox around" I question.

"What's up Sam" Major Lennox asks.

"I ran into a decepticon attacking a classmate on the beach so I brought her here" I state.

"What's the kids name" Lennox asks heading towards Bee. "Carly"

"Mr. Lennox" Carly sobs seeing her fathers best friend and commander. "Where's my dad"

Carly's POV

"Sweetheart he told me while I held his hand that he wanted me to take care of you. I'm so sorry but he's gone" Lennox says as I feel my knees begin to give from beneath me. But then I feel someone catch me.

"Sam I owe you my life" Lennox says with gratitude for saving me from the decepticon on the beach.

"His dog tags" Lennox says handing me the metal necklaces.

"I want my dad" I cry as my knees soon give out I'm kneeling on the floor.

"You're gonna live with me and my wife Sarah" William says crouching to my level.

"We can get your stuff tomorrow" William says as we get ready to head for his house.

"I think I'm gonna hangout with Sam for a bit" I say causing Lennox to give me a worried look. "I just need some time and space"

"She needs one of the auto bots to watch over her anyway for now she could hangout with bumblebee and Mr. Witwicky until I figure out which of them will suit her needs and personality best" a tall one of the robots says.

"What the hell" I say.

"I am Optimus Prime. I'm sorry that you lost your father and also that you were attacked on the beach" Optimus says looking down at me.

Williams POV

I pulled into the drive of the house Sarah and I own.

It's a cute little cottage on the outskirts of town, with lots of space for Annabelle to run around and play.

Sam's POV

I look over to the passenger seat, and Carly looks distraught to say the least.

I can see the pain in her eyes.

"I wish the aliens whatever they are never came to earth. It's there fault their gone" she mumbles under her breath.

We sit on the beach in the golden sand. It's rough to the touch but in a good way.

"What's your story" I ask.

"Parents were both killed by the robots. I don't see how we can trust them" Carly says anger in her voice.

"Not all of them are bad you know" I reply as she lays on her stomach watching the waves crash up in down.
